The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) - A Review
The classic film starring Michael Rennie and directed by the legendary Robert Wise is the focus of "The Movie Reviews." This is one of my favorite films of all time. It is a pleasure to present it here.
The third and final film, I Am Legend is highlighted in this final review of the newest adaptation from Richard Matheson's book. I also look at the book and Matheson's inspiration in writing it.

PUBLIC DOMAIN Fun Sci Fi movie from the 50's While boating (and possibly water-skiing), a quartet of teens, Reg (Don Sullivan), Skip (Paul Pepper), Julie (Mitzie Albertson), and Pam (Brianne Murphy), accidentally discover an island run by a mad scientist named Doctor Myra who intends to turn everyone in the United States into a zombie. The teenagers become trapped on the island, and are temporarily imprisoned in cages. They are freed when other teenagers arrive with the sheriff (who turns out to be in league with Doctor Myra). A complicated fight scene serves as the climax, in which a de-zombified gorilla arrives just in time to attack Dr. Myra's henchmen and allow the teens to escape. When they are safely back on the mainland, it is implied that the teens will receive a reward for discovering the island, and will have an audience with the President of the United States.
With Nene stuck at work and Linna out of town, Priss is left to deal with a rogue boomer on her own- not easy when you're running low on power. Meanwhile, Linna realises she must decide what is most important to her before she can make a decision about which path her future shouls take.
UFO Extreme ASI Ep 5 (3:10) We meet ASI investigator trainee Tiger Kinnear, who stresses Brandon for getting lost and being late for their trip into Topanga Canyon. Brandon contacts author Preston Dennett ("UFOs Over Topanga Canyon") and he agrees to show them where the UFO hotspots are in the area. He takes them on a mysterious and suspensful journey high up into the hills of Topanga where they prepare for paranormal events.
