You know, I've been on this Anime kick for a bit now and I've noticed that the whole childhood promise thing is a bit overdone. Sure, once or twice is okay, but come on, it's getting a bit silly. Who seriously remembers, let alone keeps, any promise they made when they where 8? Answer: almost nobody. So why does it seem that the only way these dudes meet a nice girl is when it happens to be a childhood friend they were forced to play house with when they where little.
