It's a Christmas gift for the entire community. On Friday, KAT Communications will feature their latest work. It's a short film about a young boy searching for the true joys of Christmas. Reporter Kate Schell has more on the film shot right here in the Bismarck-Mandan area. It's a story centered around a young man and his journey to find the real joys of the holiday. And its a project that took a local communication company on a journey of its own. I said 'Do you think its possible to put a Christmas program together?' And they all looked at me and after the initial shock they said lets do it." This week, the Best Christmas Ever makes its debut. Although, it's a movie that didnt come together overnight. KAT employees having been working around the clock developing ideas, writing scripts and recruiting local talent. (Candace Muggerud/Kat Communications, CFO) "I think the really great thing about it is, we have the capabilities right here in Bismarck to put together an entire Christmas production." And a powerful message to go along with it. This is the people we have here." It took an entire crew, with hope of their own, to go from just ideas to airing a special on the big screen.
