if you're planning on heading to the game and don't want to deal with the hassle of traffic or finding a parking spot -- there is a new option for you. on that day the rail runner will debut its lobo special events platform. jeff maher has more on how it works. the lobo special events platform at commercial and avenida cesar chavez is designed for the lobo sports fan who doesn't want to deal with u-n-m gameday traffic or parking. "it really is an opportunity to use the rail runner for more than just commuting everyday, now you can use it for special events" the idea of the platform is simple -- it doesn't matter where you are coming from, if you're going to the game, the ticket agent on the train will give you a special ticket for the new service. you'll buy your regular ticket for the rail runner - our regular weekend service... you just show that to one of the bus drivers -and then you'll be moved to the football stadium as quickly as possible. this weekend, the abq ride bus service to the stadium from the platform is free -- all you need is your rail runner ticket. after the game, the bus will take you to the downtown albuquerque station where two trains will be waiting -- to take passengers either north to santa fe, or south to belen "we've got people chartering buses from santa fe and northern new mexico to come to lobo events and now the train is a great and safe way to travel and the capacity of the train is much better than buses" lobo fans we talked to say the platform makes sense "that's great, there's a lot of people that don't want to drive and it's easier for parking and this way you get more people going out to the games" "i think that will be beneficial, they'll attract more, because they'll save on the parking, the parking - that's the hassle of it" jeff maher. eyewitness news four. rail runner officials say they expect to add some kind of surcharge for the bus connection sometime in the future. some graduate students say they're embarassed by the way the athletic department handled locksley's scuffle with a former assistant coach -- and they want to make their anger known. misa maruyama joins us now with tonight's top story. misa? students are formally speaking out, after the mike locksley controversy erupted on the national stage. the council that represents u-n-m's graduate and professional students says it's putting it to a vote -- asking students whether they have confidence in administrators after everything that happened. nats of gavel. i call this meeting to order. welcome everybody. these students say they want to send a cle message to the head honchos at the university of new mexico: we don't have confidence in the way the unm administration has handled the locksley- gerald incident. this comes after lobos football coach mike locksley -- and ex-assistant coach j-b gerald -- got into a physical fight during a staff meeting three months ago. council chairman joey hernandez say it left a stain on every student's diploma. we feel it's one of many incidents that has diminished the reputation of the university of new mexico. we as students would like to graduate from a school with a good reputation, not one that has diminishing. today the graduate and professional student association decided to put forth a vote of no confidence ... in athletic director paul krebs and the vice president of human resources for the way they handled the gerald-locksley incident. if graduate students, undergraduate students, faculty and staff don't say anything about it, what does that say about our institution. but stand-out on unm's golf team disagrees. i'm disappointed in my representation. i think paul has done a great job, knowingim personally and being an athlete under his leadership, he's an incredible guy and there's a laundry list of things he's done. locksley was suspended for ten days about a month after the scuffle. the student association chairman says he doesn't think human resources looked into the inciden
