One of the teens accused of hazing underclassmen at a Robertson High School football camp will be allowed to practice with the basketball team at West Las Vegas High School, which he is now attending. Lucas Martinez is currently on house arrest. He’s among a group of former Robertson High School football players accused of sodomizing teammates with a broomstick. Prosecutors during Friday morning’s hearing argued that Martinez could be dangerous to his alleged victims if the house arrest is lifted. Judge Mark Macaron granted Martinez’s request – with conditions. “I will give discretion to the probation officer to cease activity for any reason at the probation officer’s discretion if they find the activity is a risk to someone else,” said Macaron. Martinez’s defense also argued that the trial venue should be changed and prosecutors asked that the victims be allowed in the classroom when the trial gets underway in February.
