Former U-Mary quarterback Blair Sandy once said that the initials in L.T. Brown's name stood for 'Lotsa Trouble,' and that's exactly what the center standout plans to bring to the 2010 Valero Cactus Bowl in Texas...LOTS OF TROUBLE. That's the NCAA D-II All-Star Game and Brown becomes just the second ever Marauder to play in it, joining Keith McCleary, who suited up in 2008. The Idaho native was a three-year starter, playing in the middle the last two seasons. Brown was twice chosen as a team captain and among his many honors were All NSIC and All-Region selections this past season. Approximately 80 senior athletes will compete in an East-West Format on January 8th in Kingsville, Texas. [www.clipsyndicate.com | KXMB CBS Bismarck North D]
He committed to a college LAST SEASON, and since then, Jason Fabian of the Bismarck Bobcats continues to get better and better. In fact, the team's leader in points had three in his last game...all goals. It was the first hat trick in juniors for the Roseau, Minnesota native and future Airforce Falcon on Saturday against Alexandria. Fabian has found the back of the net 13 times and has a total of 28 points. Last year, he was fourth on the team with 39...and he's on pace to surpass that. While he can't wait for college, Fabian would like a Robertson Cup before he heads there. "(Jason Fabian:) You got a lot of things to work on before you get there, so I will keep on honing my skills here a little bit and I don't want to try to look too far ahead because I like playing in the moment and having as much fun as I can right now and before you know it, it is going to be up. " Fabian and the Bobcats have a pointstreak at 16 straight games and hope to extend it this weekend at Albert Lea. For more on the Cats, join us tonight at ten for 'Inside the Den.'
