Many of us had the holiday off, including the Bismarck Bobcats... but with wins in their previous three games, the Cats hope *that* rest doesn't lead to rust. For more on that, lets go 'Inside the Den!' "December 19th doesn't seem like that long ago, but its been over a week since the Bismarck Bobcats last played, knocking off North Iowa 5-to-2. Between then and now, they were off the ice... and coaches hope that didn't knock them off their game. (Layne Sedevie:) Obviously, the holiday is good to get home and maybe take your mind off of hockey for a little bit, but hopefully, we told them that they have to take care of themselves and they have to come back and we have 'three in three,' so it doesn't get any easier and we have to take care of business and not take a step back. (Casey Kleisinger:) Everyone pretty much got back yesterday and we got on the ice today and we looked really good and obviously, all the skills weren't there, but we've been moving the puck pretty well and looked really good for having nine days off. The Cats currently lead the Central Division by nine points... and the goal in the second half of the season is to put even more distance between them and the rest . (Casey Kleisinger:) That was a great honor and obviously, when you are selected for a prospects team - that is great - and it is not just the one guy or in our case, six guys getting nominated. They couldn't have been nominated without the other 25 guys on the team, so we are all really excited to represent our team and also, our central division. They've got the players to do it...as six different Bobcats have been named to the League's Top Prospects Tournament, with Byron Pool coaching the Central. Next on the schedule...three games in three nights against two different teams. (Layne Sedevie:) I would say that maybe the power play has to keep going the way it has, our PK and special teams has been really good for us lately and if we can keep that going and take care of all of the other stuff and keep the work ethic, then I think

Fox 5 will carry many football games plus all your favorite shows. But it's very possible that none of these will be shown on Time Warner Cable. Time Warner takes Fox 5's broadcast signal and then re-sells it, but doesn't want to pay fairly for that right. Chase Carey, COO of News Corp., said a deal was not likely. He was kicked off before the season started, but today, the UND men's hockey team announced that Matt Frattin will once again wear a Sioux Sweater. He was dismissed in August for a violation of team rules after a couple of arrests over the Summer, both alcohol related. The Junior Forward enrolled in Spring Classes and has resumed practicing and is immediately eligible to play. He has 40 points in 85 career games at UND. "(Matt Frattin:) I just want to take it one step at a time and I don't want to go over the line with excitement and you have to control you emotions and that kind of stuff. But I am basically trying to keep on the same routine as I did at home and keep a straight head on my shoulders. (Dave Hakstol:) If you would've asked me four months ago or five months ago, I didn't think he would be back on the ice with us or have this opportunity. But, he changed that with the method he's gone about taking responsibility. " Frattin was drafted by Toronto in the 2007. He could see action as soon as this weekend when UND plays in the Notre Dame Tournament. Meanwhile, former Sioux Star Jonathan Toews has been selected to play for the Canadian Olympic Team. He's currently with Chicago. [www.clipsyndicate.com | KXMB CBS Bismarck North D]
