An overnight fire destroyed one business and damaged another in Kenmare. Fire Chief Dale Hanson says the call came in about 1:30 this morning, saying Danny's Bar and Grill in downtown Kenmare was on fire. By that time, the fire was burning in the roof of the building and Hanson says firefighters were lucky to save the neighboring businesses from the flames. Kenmare firefighters were assisted by the Bowbells and Tolley departments - and fought the fire for about 3-and-a-half hours. Chief Hanson says it was dark, hard work.
