Firefighters respond to Wal-mart and Central Market today for a call of their own. They're helping the Salvation Army with their red-kettle campaign. Although, these firefighters are using something more appropriate to catch the cash. For the past few years the local fire departments have paired with the Salvation Army. Bismarck Rural Firefighter Randy Rambousek says it's much warmer this year and collections have been going very well. David Zieman was burned on his arms, legs, and face when he tried to carry a burning pot of oil out of his kitchen - where the oil had started a fire. FULL CG The oil splashed and burned him - causing second degree burns and forcing two days of treatment at Region's Hospital in St. Paul. The fire was December 6th.
