Taken from episode 18. Contains spoilers. Mitsuki's wandering around the city by herself, when suddenly she feels faint and collapses in the middle of a busy intersection. Who's going to rescue her, and how? Note: I don't see anything here I'd consider a kiss! Life-saving maneuver, yes.
These are some of my favorite scenes from Full Moon Sagashite, which is also one of my favorite anime series. Tossed in a little video I worked on once. I'm sure the series in full is available here, so I'm just posting (IMO) the most touching or cutest scenes. Needless to say, spoilers abound, so a prerequisite would be to have watched the series in its entirety. The source are the a.f.k. fansubs, scaled to 320x240 with xvid and unretouched mp3 source.
Myco, Eternal Snow
Note: This video is full of spoilers, and will likely ruin the anime experience if you watch if before the series itself, unless you're good at selective short term memory! This is the first and only "AMV" that I made some time ago when I was trying to learn how to use video editing software. I did try to make the video match the audio where possible, but please forgive the amateur quality and transitions! It was an interesting experimentation until the software crashed too often for me to want to work on it anymore. Theme: The relationship between Mitsuki and Takuto Video Source: a.f.k.'s Full Moon AVIs. Audio Source: DJ Pezz and Kristen's "What It Is You See." Hope you enjoyed the series as much as I did.
Taken from episode 1. Features the song "New Future." Contains spoilers. Mitsuki's been granted the voice and ability to accomplish one of her dreams, to audition as a singer/idol. When her opportunity to prove herself arrives, Mitsuki gets microphone-shy and is about to give up. As she turns to run out of the audition area, Takuto stops her and asks her to sing. So Mitsuki takes a breath, opens her mouth, and...
Taken from episode 7. Features the song "Myself." Full Moon sings "Myself" to an amazed audience. Like in her audition, Takuto is captivated, and adds his own angel-motif touch to Full Moon during the song.
Taken from episode 15. Contains spoilers. Full Moon's got herself into an awkward position: on a boat, alone with a devious, lecherous character named Murakami who has a hidden agenda. How on earth can this awful dilemma be turned into a cutesy situation?
Taken from episode 18. Contains spoilers. Mitsuki's wandering around the city by herself, when suddenly she feels faint and collapses in the middle of a busy intersection. Who's going to rescue her, and how? Note: I don't see anything here I'd consider a kiss! Life-saving maneuver, yes.
Taken from episode 19. Containers spoilers. Mitsuki awakens in a lighthouse, unsure how she arrived. Takuto's jacket has served as her blanket, but he's nowhere to be found. She then hears a hauntingly distant rendition of "Myself." Following the singing to the beach shore, she finds...
Taken from episode 27. Contains the song "Eternal Snow." Full Moon records "Eternal Snow" in the studio. With all her pent-up emotions finally being released, she's able to throw her entire heart into the words of her music :)
Taken from episode 31. Contains minor spoilers. Full Moon, Takuto, and Meroko are at a festival/fair. They run into, um, some rather extreme Full Moon fans (though for some reason I love these guys). Takuto reveals he can switch into a "true" human form and assumes the role of bodyguard against these guys. Then they go on a ... date!?
Taken from episode 37. No spoilers. Madoka's version of eternal snow. It's got more of a dance beat to it that the original.
Taken from episode 37. No spoilers. Full Moon's "Smile" plays while holiday preparations are being made.
Taken from episode 41. Spoilers. Takuto's fallen into the canyon whilst trying to retrieve Mitsuki's (well, Eichi's) pendant. But shinigami don't die mortal deaths, so you know he won't bite it. Mitsuki is upset that he seemingly risked his life, a minor tiff ensues, that turns into... what, a minor confession?
Taken from episode 42. Huge spoilers. Mitsuki finally meets Eichi in this episode! It's not quite the reunion she imagined before coming to the states. My favorite use of "Eternal Snow" in the series.
Taken from episode 47. Minor spoilers. Mitsuki puts on a brave face with her classmates when they discuss what they'll be doing next year, since she doesn't know if she'll even be alive then. Takuto confronts, then comforts her.
Taken from episode 50. Spoilers. Will Takuto finally confess to Mitsuki?
Taken from episode 52. Spoilers. Full Moon's final concert, to "Love Chronicle." Izumi chimes in at the end with the angel motif (I prefer it over the original one Takuto did in during "Myself.")
Taken from episode 52. Huge Spoilers. The conclusion sequence of the series. Nice touch how New Future (in episode #1, remember?) makes a return here, and the meanings of the songs in both episodes allude to entirely different situations in Mitsuki's life :)
