Intensive weekend workshop is Saturday 13th June 09 to 14th June, starting at 10 AM till 4PM @ The Annexe, Ebenezer Chapel, Charles Street, Cardiff CF10 2GA. This workshop is suitable for beginners to improvisation and performance. The journey to the unknown starts off the discovery and exploration of improvisation with Ludus Ludius' focus of play and playfulness. Throughout the weekend we get to know the players and discover the unknown together and exploring what improv is a and playing with this art form. We have three sets of these workshops, beginners, intermediates and advanced. We begin with the basics of improv through fun and playful games and exercises. We then move to Johnstone and Spolin approaches as we we look at other ways. Ludus Ludius puts emphasis on play and playfulness in improv and we discover and explore through these means. Every workshop is different, so we can cover more or less than what's listed. To book onto this event goto the workshops page on www.ludusludius.co.uk or email: nathan@ludusludius.co.uk

FEATURING: David Malins FROM: Glamorgan Improvisation Troupe (Cardiff, Wales) PROP: Impulse deodorant LOCATION: Alleyway, Cardiff, Wales
Our full-length improvised play about the Flurry of Florence was at Chapter Arts Centre, Y Llofft on 31st July 09 and 1st August 09. The story was made-up spontaneously in front of the audiences' very eyes. With only a few suggestions from the audience, they watched the marvel of two improvisers creating. (With the help of the other improvisers doing various other jobs to assist the show). They were given the whole theatrical experience of costumes, set, lighting and sound unlike any other improv show in Cardiff at the moment.
Ludus Ludius Improv theatre co has its long-form improv show in Y Llofft @ Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff, Wales. Fri 31st July and 1st August, 8pm Flurry of Florence is a full-length improvised play that has all the theatricals of a normal play. It's Improv at its Bravest.

Cathays Easter Inclusive Youth Club - In the park we play games and scenes.
Without the original sound - in this scene we have true chaotic stae where no one is using what is already onstage and the stage is crowded. Ah beautiful chaos.
Without the original sound - in this scene we have our Eminem having a dance off. No original sound makes it slightly odd I think.
Without the original sound - in this scene we see our own version of Eminem escape and cause havoc. Will anyone stop him?
