In order to raise money for his own cause, Robotnik auctions off artifacts from the lost city of Mobupinchu. But these artifacts are actually from more recent history; they are bombs, and they're about to go off. When the bomb lands in Bartleby's hands, can Sonic and co. stop Robotnik from finding the real Mobupinchu and save Bartleby?
Sonic, Sonia, and Manic are the children of Queen Aleena Hedgehog. They are chased by Doctor Robotnik and his bumbling bounty hunter sidekicks, Sleet and Dingo. The reason that he is chasing the three is because of a prophecy made by the Oracle of Delphius (a spoof of the Oracle of Delphi of Ancient Greece) - saying that the Queen's three children will one day find their mother, overthrow Robotnik, and together become the rulers of Mobius again. The three siblings have powerful medallions that not only change into musical instruments but also into weapons when the triplets are in perfect harmony with each other. Sonic's medallion is an electric guitar/gun, Sonia's medallion is a keyboard/gun, Manic's medallion is a drumset/Earth controller/gun. The three use the amulets not only to fight Robotnik's forces but to also have instruments for their underground rock band, Sonic Underground. Sonic, Sonia, and Manic also call Robotnik "'Robuttnik", as opposed to just Sonic referring to him by that name.
Sonic and Manic get addicted to a new video game so much that it is hindering Cyrus' plan to infiltrate Robotnik's base. But, when Sonic and Manic get sucked into the game, can they survive when they find out Robotnik is behind everything and ready to eliminate them?
In the newly-discovered Emerald Peninsula, while combating Sleet and Dingo, Sonia finds a magic pendant that threatens to turn her invisible. Sonic and Manic are in a race against time to find the cure to this seemingly irreversible spell before Sonia disappears forever...
The Sonic Underground come across ART, Robotnik's most powerful robot ever, that can think and learn for itself. But ART soon learns the power of friendship, and switches to the Resistance. This gives a vengeful Sleet the opportunity to finish off ART - and the hedgehogs - once and for all...
Bartleby is placed under arrest for helping out the resistance. As you might expect, it's the Sonic Underground to the rescue!
Robotnik invents a new dart that induces sleep and sends them after the resistance. It's up to Sonic and siblings to stop them from the source. But they run into a bit of trouble when Manic is hit by the sleeper darts. Nevertheless, after destroying the sleepers, they must destroy the fuel source in the Bad Lands' Mine...
What started as a fun vacation for Sonic, Sonia and Manic gets ruined by Dr. Robotnik when he comes up with his most original plan yet: melt the polar ice caps. Things will be hard for the Sonic Underground when Sonia gets split up from the group and mistaken for Queen Sauna by a group of penguins who are having troubles of their own.
Robotnik is about to auction off the four royal goblets in Anèz. But when the hedgehogs take the goblets back, Sonic and Manic are captured! At both ends of the city are Roboticizers with one of Sonia's brothers inside. With the help of a Freedom Fighter called Renée, can Sonia save both of them?

In this episode the Sonic Underground rescue a prisoner from one of Robotnik's towers - a hedgehog wearing a mask (so you can't see his face properly). The prisoner claims he is the hedgehogs' uncle; the twin brother of Queen Aleena! But it is all just a sinister ploy by Robotnik to split the Sonic Underground up...

While in Robotropolis, Sonic, Sonia, and Manic find an abandoned baby hedgehog. While Sonic and Sonia search for its parents, Manic is left to mind it, and get in touch with his mothering instincts. But the baby isn't as innocent as it looks... and Robotnik comes within an inch of uncovering the sanctuary.
Queen Aleena's Royal Jewel can trace the Queen like a homing device. Having apparently found the jewel, Sonic, Sonia and Manic think they may have found their mother at last. But little do they know it is actually a trap to capture Robotnik; a trap they've just fallen into...
The Oracle, wishing to test the Hedgehog's practical capabilities, strips them of their powers and sends them into an alternate, Roman-themed reality where a Sleet-look-alike presides as King. The former fast and furious hedgehogs must use their usual blend of cunning and strategy to save this reality, but without their super-speed, will they be stopped dead in their tracks?
