Your favorite Peanuts stories come to life in this animated television series. Adapted from the popular comic strip created and written by Charles M. Shultz, "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show" is no longer a cartoon relegated to Saturday mornings of the past -- now you can watch the gang anytime! With short sketches featuring these classic and much-loved characters, it's easy to, as the opening song suggests, "have a party with Charlie Brown and Snoopy."
Part 1 "Kiss." Lucy thinks no one loves her. She doesn't notice Snoopy trying to give her a kiss so she walks away. "Peppermint Patty." Peppermint Patty keeps falling asleep in class because she's afraid to go to sleep at night. She gets Snoopy to stay and be her guard dog but he has trouble sleeping on the waterbed. Meanwhile, she gets burglarized and eventually Snoopy, Peppermint Patty and Marcie end up bounding on the waterbed and can't get off. Part 2 "Charlie Brown Lost." Snoopy takes his birds on an overnight hike. Charlie Brown tries to find them and gets lost, so Marcie and Peppermint Patty go to search for him. When Charlie Brown finally returns home, he discovers that Sally has moved into his room. Part 3 "Snoopy." Charlie Brown balances a board on his head so snoopy can practice diving into the pool; Linus tells the story of the "Three Little Pigs" and Snoopy begins to "huff and puff" until he knocks Linus over; Frieda tires unsuccessfully to get Snoopy to hunt rabbits; Snoopy steals a ball from Lucy; Snoopy refuses to be put on a leash; Snoopy greets Charlie Brown; Charlie Brown pushes a hoop and Snoopy comes by and gets tangled up in it; Snoopy pretends he's the flying ace and "stalks" Charlie Brown as he caries Snoopy's supper dish; Charlie Brown scratches Snoopy's head; Charlie Brown feeds Snoopy his supper and Snoopy dances with him; Lucy picks a fight with Snoopy but Snoopy licks her; Sally "speaks softly and carries a beagle" - until her beagle runs away.
Part 1 "Gold Stars." Peppermint Patty is upset because she never gets gold stars on her papers. She asks her teacher to show her the stars and later her teacher accuses her of stealing the box. She calls her attorney, Snoopy, and has him wear a wig and take her place in class, while she disguises herself as a custodian. She finds the box of stars in the wastebasket. "Blanket." Snoopy steals Linus' blanket and Linus tricks him into giving it back. Part 2 "Piano." Snoopy dances on the piano and Schroeder doesn't like it. Lucy also keeps bugging him and kicking the piano. Finally, out of jealousy, she throws it into the "kite-eating tree" and the tree eats the piano. Part 3 "Teaching." Snoopy tries to teach Woodstock how to lay football. Linus tries to teach Sally to play and Peppermint Patty attempts to teach Marcie. When neither of them work out, Peppermint Patty asks Charlie Brown to try out for her team. She keeps running over him testing his blocking ability and finally decides to test Snoopy, who she picks for the team. Lucy tricks Charlie Brown into letting her hold the football and again, she pulls it away.
Part 1 "Charlie Brown And Lucy." Lucy keeps picking on Charlie Brown, so he goes to Snoopy who is filling in for Lucy at the Psychiatry Stand. But Snoopy (and then Lucy) falls asleep listening to him. Lucy tries to find something that Charlie Brown would be good at and finally makes him hold one end of the rope while she jumps. Part 2 "Kite." Charlie Brown keeps losing his cap and crashing the kite; the kite explodes into little pieces; Charlie Brown gets all tangled up in the string; the kite gets stuck in the "kite- eating tree." "The Dance." Peppermint Patty gets depressed watching a beauty contest on TV; she asks Snoopy to go to the dance with her and ends up slugging a kid who comments on Snoopy's nose. Snoopy returns home and has Charlie Brown read him a story about the Bunny Wunnies. Part 3 "Thiebault." Charlie Brown criticizes Snoopy for not catching the baseball and Lucy and Frieda criticize Charlie Brown for not pitching correctly. Peppermint Patty borrows Charlie Brown's glove and then lends it to Thiebault, but he refuses to give it back. Peppermint Patty asks Marcie to play but Thiebault doesn't want a girl on his team so she slugs him.
Part 1 "The Play." Charlie Brown writes a term paper and relates what happened at the previous year's Christmas play. Part 2 "Sweet Baboo." It's Valentine's Day, but no one gets a Valentine from the person they wanted - except for Snoopy and Woodstock, of course. Part 3 "Snoopy's Story." Peppermint Patty writes an essay about Snoopy and then is chosen to read her paper in front of the whole school.
