  • Each year, the Long Island Blues Society has a competition, to send a local blues band to Memphis, for a National Blues Challenge. The LIBS contest is called LIBTC. Featured bands, and 2nd song of heir set play. Chrissie O'Dell & One Hot Mess/Lonesome Dan & The Curmudgeons/Hitman Blues Band/Frank Latorre & The King Bees/ Gail Storm Band Taped at Fatty Beltbuckles, Rocky Point, Long island, NY WE added the 3rd song with Gail, to keep the show at 29 1/2 minutes.. cool

This show has each competing bands opening song, from the August 23, 2009 contest. The following bands are, in order of performance, Chrissie O'Dell & One Hot Mess/ Lonesome Dan & The Curmudgeons/Hitman Blues Band/Frank Latorre & The King Bees/ Gail Storm Band. Frank Latorre won the contest. Fatty Beltbuckles was the venue, at Rocky Point, LONG Island NY.
