The titled says it all "What Really Is Important". What now follows is just irrelevant legal mumbo-jumbo. :) .... I found this audio file on my hard disk and thought that it would be a great idea to make a video out of it. I didn't remember at first where I got the MP3 file from, but now I found another version of the MP3 with the ID3 meta data still intact :). Audio credits have to go to: Alan Stewart and Andrew Winter from the The Marketer's Podcast (http://www.themarketerspodcast.com/), episode 33 from 2006. The description/subtitle states: "Please pass on this gentle reminder.", so I guess they won't have a problem with the use in my video. Video created by me, Carsten Cumbrowski (c)opyleft 2009. You are free to use this video, share it, replicate it, alter it, delete it or whatever you like, as long as it will not be copyright protected. Cirque du Soleil's "O" was featured in the Discovery Channel TV show "Time Warp" with hosts MIT's Jeff Lieberman & Matt Kearney, episode from June 19, 2009. The episode is called "Las Vegas Warped" and featured next to Cirque's show "O" some juggling by Penn Teller. "Time Warp" basically captures things in "slow motion", which is very interesting in many cases, especially if the events are typically fast paste in real-life. I edited the pieces together to shorten the stuff and added music by Benoit Jutras for the "Cirque like" show "Le Reve" by Franco Dragone at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The track is called "Chapel" (track 4 on the OST CD). I featured slow motion video images for some of the acts of the show "Corteo" a couple months ago. Check out those videos as well. Pretty cool stuff. You can find them, if you do a search for "corteo tokyo". using the search box in my user profile (not the site wide search). A friend of mine from Germany, who now lives in Sweden came to visit me in Fresno over an extended weekend and I took him out to the Yosemite National Park, which is right near by Fresno, California, where I am living today. I took some video recordings with my Flip Cam and edited the material together for this little video to show the beauty of this natural wonder in the Sierra Nevada in California. If you ever wondered what happens to all those shaky video snippets that are recorded by people all the time and those short shots that simply don't fit into any edited video created from the original raw content, ... here is the answer. Aehrm... actually nobody usually does anything with them. They catch dust in some box if they are lucky or simply get deleted once the editing of the raw material was done... This is a waste really, not? Well, I did something with some pieces and here is the result. I added labels to point out folks that I recognized while the camera "flew" over them and where I remembered the name (the latter one was especially hard for me :) ). If I missed anybody that I should not have missed, sorry, Either was the video simply too much blurred or I just had enough of creating more labels .. and make them stick too! For the Germans who watch this video.. I know the lyrics is not really PG-13, but I "bleeped" out the "toughest" parts hehe. And I wanted to show of my new intro. I ...
