This is an Easter 2008 message but is timeless. It addresses the pattern set by King Jesus Christ Himself of the Suffering Servant who goes through the Cross to the glorified Servant Leader who is then raised to Resurrection Life and power by God Himself through his/her faith and obedience in denying his/her self life for that which is the Will of the Father. Only in this way does God choose and send His true leaders and Jesus is our example.
How do we discover and fulfill the call of God on our lives as His people so that He can then send us as fit for service to a lost and needy world? Bishop Rebecca takes us through the steps as God has revealed to us all who seek through His personal Word and also through our own unfolding life testimony.
This is another teaching sermon that I am doing for my grad studies at GBIS. It is about mourning and tools towards recovery~ the healing journey. It is something that I am well-acquainted with and identified with also... by His Word, promises and stripes we are healed and will overcome all- even this. God bless You all!
