This is comedy. You'll figure it out, so I won't blow it for you. Enjoy!
Cool, because they're amazing, wierd, awe-inspiring, hilarious, sad, creative, extreme... Just not normal, ya know?
Early 1960's, my then-undivorced parents moved my four siblings (I was born in '65) to Weisbaden, Germany, where Dad did some contract electronics/computer work for the CIA, and the family got to see Europe. This was filmed with 8mm silent film. Mom got it transferred to video recently, and I digitized it, and made it an amateur sound editing project. 100% of the sound/music was applied 40 years after it was filmed from stock sound effects and my mp3 collection using Adobe Audition and Vegas Video. The footage of kids jumping off a dock into a lake was taken in Delton, Michigan at my Uncle Chuck's house, probably to use up the roll they had taken in Europe. There is some additional footage they took of me, soon after I was born, in the house in New York, I believe. That's me naked in the kiddie pool; I'm not proud of it. But it's my lone appearance with full frontal nudity.
Stretching my skills at videography and editing with my new Sony Handicam digital video recorder and Vegas Video software. I experimented with zooming in on the moon, titling, musical scoring, video effects, and various camera tricks. Purely amateur rough draft stuff, but amusing nonetheless.
Runtime: 0:09 seconds; it’s short, but very interesting. Remember, this was a real event, NOT a manipulated picture or a special effect. That’s what makes this cool. “This video clip was captured at the 500 kV Eldorado substation near Boulder City, Nevada by power company engineers and maintenance staff. It shows a three-phase air disconnect switcher attempting to open the high voltage supply to a large three phase shunt line reactor. The power company was having difficulty cleanly disconnecting one phase of the line reactor and had set up a special test to videotape a switching event so that they could diagnose the problem. The engineers had also made arrangements to “kill” the experiment by manually tripping an upstream circuit breaker.” Taken from teslamania.delete.org/frames/longarc.htm ; you can read the full article there.

Pretty standard, GPS-satellite-carrying $45,000,000.00-Cape-Canaveral rocket-exploding, and melting-car-tires, stuff(!). But what amazed me was the NASA Mission Control lady calling it an "anomaly." Watch it again, and imagine the end of the world!
