Vets March to New Orleans

The Walkin' to New Orleans March started Tuesday the 14th of March in Mobile, Alabama and concluded on Sunday the 19th; with an Anniversary Anti-War Rally in Congo Square, New Orleans. The marchers were war veterans from many wars and hurricane survivors from the 2005 Gulf Coast hurricane season who wished to draw attention to the cause and effect of having a currupt, profiteering government.

  • Saturday several vets from the March took the day off from walking to join with the Arabi Wrecking Krewe to gut and clear debris from a fellow veterans' home in New Orleans. The Arabi Wrecking Krewe is an all volunter house gutting team founded by vets. They donate their time to help Jazz Musicians and veterns return to their homes. The uncredited musician at the end is Charlie Anderson ... sorry Charlie.
