Saturday several vets from the March took the day off from walking to join with the Arabi Wrecking Krewe to gut and clear debris from a fellow veterans' home in New Orleans. The Arabi Wrecking Krewe is an all volunter house gutting team founded by vets. They donate their time to help Jazz Musicians and veterns return to their homes. The march to New Orleans kicked off with a press conference. Michael McPhearson, executive director of Veterans for Peace makes the connection between the war in Iraq and what is happening here on the Gulf Coast.
