The NEW video from tatu, translates as 'White Robe'
The song that started it all and it's a brilliant pop song to boot. Everything about this song works, lyrics, arrangement, the emotion in the vocals and anything in between. One of things that does stand out is the emotion, which is what caught my attention the most when i first heard it. Their voices give us that sense of pleading urgency and angst. It's a pop music masterpiece
This song caused sparks by it's rather controvertial music video and message. Comparing every day movements to sexual activities was something new to the music scene, and the song became a big hit (but not to the standards of Ya Soshla s Uma). Strangely enough, the song wasn't officially released on CD until two or three years later with the Russian Remixes album.
While Ya Soshla s Uma made the girls famous in Russia, Nas Ne Dogonyat cemented their fame internationally. Before the people of the Czech Republic or Poland heard Ya Soshla s Uma they got a huge dose of Tatu's huge run away anthem "Nas Ne Dogonyat." The song is undeniably one of their strongest and the exudes a feeling of strength, defiance, urgency and power. Their cry of empowerment cemented their name and guaranteed success.
