The LifeForm art created by Hanni B. is quite unique. Most find it evocative and scintillating. Some appear shocked at the erotic depictions but deep inside they are impressed and aroused. The vibrant colors and bold geometric patterns flow fluidly as a 3-dimensional extrusion, rising above the organic curves below. The images evoke visions of supernatural forces, giving rise to god-like powers. But the curves are unmistakably human. “One of my earliest boxing memories is sitting on the ring apron at the Repton Boxing Club watching my older brothers train. Sitting there, ringside with my Dad, I couldn't wait for it to be my turn. By the time I was old enough to start training I already knew how to hold my hands in the correct position and throw a number of combinations (my brothers had shown me how and I practiced at every opportunity!). I remember my first fight. I was 11 years old. Sitting in the dressing room, there were about 15 other young boxers getting ready too. Everyone was asking each other, "who are you fighting, "who are you fighting." There was this one big guy sitting in the corner wrapping his hands. LOOP!STATION was formed in July 2002 by Sam Bass and Robin Coomer almost by accident. Robin asked Sam if he would come and play some cello at her upcoming photography show. He convinced Robin to join him and his new favorite tool the loop station. After going to the music store and getting her own, they only had two rehearsals before the opening thinking they would only play one show. Based in Las Vegas, Carey Hart started his tattoo shop, Hart and Huntington on a whim. His shop's success quickly spread and A&E created a show about him and his tattoo shop called, "Inked." Since then, Hart & Huntington has opened shop in Honolulu, Cabo San Lucas and Orlando. Prior to starting Hart & Huntington, Hart was a professional motocross rider and gained his notoriety with the sport. Over the years, he broke over 63 bones in his body with his daredevil stunts and tricks. Known for his hits in the 80’s like Because I Love You and Party Your Body, Stevie B has continued his Freestyle influence today with a remake of his popular song, Spring Love and his new album, “This Time.” Stevie B started in South Florida and his songs frequented the Latin nightclubs of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale before hitting the mainstream US music scene. Thomas McNamara, otherwise known as Macky, has been making art for as long as he can remember, winning sculpting contests as early as junior high. At 11, his father got him a lead soldier-making kit. That’s when art was introduced and it quickly became evident that it was to be his purpose in life. At 11 he could melt the lead in a small pot, pour it into molds, and paint the little figurines. These soldiers were often given to his parent’s friends. The response was wild - the adults all loved them!! As a boy this was real validation for a child surrounded by intimidating, book-smart people. The art carried Macky into all the art classes at Cardinal Newman high school. Christina Christian is most widely recognized for her dazzling performances on American Idol. When her season of American Idol ended, she was one of the four contestants that were signed to a recording contract. Christina always loved to sing and as she was growing up, her musical mentors were Whitney Houston, Bette Midler and Patti LaBelle. Though she sailed into fame with her beautiful voice, family is still her first priority with her son and husband close by her side.
