To koritsi me ta mavra 1956. XviD. Mihalis Cacoyannis wrote the story and directed. Dimitris Horn and Notis Periyalis are the Athenians visiting the island of Hydra for some R&R. Lambeti is Marina that falls in love with Horn. Horn is got problems with the locals and Foundas is the architect of many practical jokes that lead to a tragedy. Walter Lassally was the cinematographer.

To Teleftaio Psema. 1957. XviD. Mihalis Cacoyannnis' masterpiece. Lemesos, the Republic of Cyprus, born Cacoyannis, wrote and directed the story of a Greek aristocratic family that is fading fast. Perhaps Cacoyannis' best movie, "Zorba", "Stella" and "A girl in black" notwithstanding. Manos Hadjidakis composed the music and Walter Lassaly was the cinematographer, perfectly capturing the atmosphere of Athens in the late 50s. In Greek no subs.
