  • On one of the nicest (and longest in terms of daylight) days of 2007, I walked about 13 miles from my home in Clifton Park to the vicinity of where my daughter lives in Troy, near the RPI campus. Naturally, I brought my camera. Part 1 covers the first half of the walk, through a chunk of Halfmoon, crossing the Mohawk, a corner of Colonie, and into the historic industrial part of Cohoes.

Naturally, I brought my camera. Part 2 moves from the hisoric industrial area of Cohoes to the equally historic downtown area of this small city. I was pleased to see signs of renewal, but I had the sidewalks pretty much to myself.

  • On one of the nicest (and longest in terms of daylight) days of 2007, I walked about 13 miles ove a period of about 5 hours from my home in Clifton Park to the vicinity of where my daughter lives in Troy, near the RPI campus. Part 3 shows the heart of the Village of Green Island, which reminded me of the quiet neighborhoods of Queens, in New York City.
