We loved this movie as a movie, sure. But Matt had some serious grievances with it as an adaptation of his beloved 80âs cartoon, and the total meaninglessness of the death of a character. Matt goes off on a rant in the second half of the review⦠do you agree? Is he nuts? Does Natâs take on it make more sense to you? Let us know! ~Matt + Nat
Two Geeks that can't help but share their obsession with Comic Book Movies, Superhero Movies, 80's Cartoon Movies, Monster Movies, Sci-Fi Movies... the list goes on. With exclusive clips and interviews, Matt + Nat are the geeks to go to when you need your fix of your geek news.
Nat managed to swing an interview with THE writer of the Battestar Galactica comicbook tie-in miniseries, Grag Pak. Between his chattgin with Ronald D. Moore and his writing Marvelâs 2007 mega-story, World War Hulk, Greg Pak is a busy man, with some amazing stories to tell about his work, and why you might just want to pick up an issue of Battlestar Galactica. ~Matt + Nat
In a raging fit of providence aligning with hard work on the part of Nat and her chase producing skills, Matt was granted an audience with the august Mr. Malcolm McDowell himself to talk about Star Trek, Heroes, and of course, the upcoming Halloween. Weâll have a sweet preview of Halloween for you in short order, but for now, enjoy watching Matt try desperately to keep his cool in the presence of a legend. ~Matt + Nat
Ok, so we had a booth at the Fan Expo this year, and it was a pretty huge event. Weâll have a nice big video feature up here in a day or so with all of our exploits while we were there. Matt had a chance to interview Malcolm McDowell, and Nat got an exclusive with Greg Pak, the writer behind the Battlestar Galactica comics⦠Youâll get a pretty big kick out of all the feature, so keep your eyes peeled! ~Matt + Nat
We're both pretty rocked by Skinwalkers, considering some of the lackluster competition in the Werewolf genre as of late, that's not entirely unexpected. Matt was hoping for the best and Nat was prepared for the worst, and we were both pleasantly surprised!! In one of his first times out as director, Jim Isaac gets a killer performance out of most of his actors, and Stan Winston's creature effects stand up well to the CGI smattering of pixels that the audience is accustomed to these days! ~Matt + Nat
Recently we've had Cursed, the Underworlds, and you can kind of count Van Helsing, since there were some pretty amazing digital werewolves there. But none of them really stack up to the classics in the 80's - An American Werewolf in London and The Howling. Skinwalkers gives an interesting modern take on the Werewolf, using the most retro style possible: Man-in-Suit. With Max Evans (Jason Behr) from Roswell and Casey Jones (Elias Koteas) from the original Ninja Turtles film as the leads, and Stan Winston, the effects pro from Terminator, Jurassic Park and Interview with a Vampire, Skinwalkers has all the ingredients to be a worthy successor to the Werewolf genre. ~Matt + Nat
In the dead of the season break, we've got a shiny little gem of BSGoodness to share with you. Well, actually two. Not only is the Battlestar Prometheus story up to a climactic Episode 10 season finale, but we managed to land some face time with Katee "Starbuck" Sackhoff while she was at Polaris21, and she let us in on some info on the post-Crossroads situation on her character, as well as some info on the Pegasus telemovie "Razor" and even went into the details of keeping secrets from the rest of the cast! Watch for part 2 of the interview coming next week! ~Matt + Nat

There is no denying that the Harry Potter films have had nothing short of magical financial success. The quality of the films themselves have varied to some extent, but not one of them could really be called a bad film by any means. So how does the fifth film stack up to the other films? Or to the source material itself? Weâll give you two distinct points of view for the REVIEW of the film: Nat has read all the Harry Potter books so far, and Matt has never read a single one. No heâs not illiterate, but thanks for your concern. ~Matt + Nat
There were some real mixed feelings on the first one⦠between a strong opening weekend, and a lack-lustre run afterward, a strong message was sent to Fox by viewers: We love the idea, but not the execution. So how well will Fox do with its second outing? Weâll give you a nice preview of the film and our review all wrapped up in a nice little package⦠and donât worry, we donât spoil the ending! ~Matt + Nat
Needless to say, THIS is the start of the summer blockbuster season. Between the conclusion of the Green Goblin storyline, the introduction of Gwen Stacy to the otherwise happy couple of Peter and MJ, and of course, the Venom twist, it looks like Sam Raimi has one huge ride in store for us on May 4. We hope you enjoy our Preview of Spiderman 3, weâve got all sorts of scenes to share with you, including the birth of Venom in the bell tower, and an absolutely delicious love-triangle scene. ~Matt + Nat
Alright boys and girlsââ¬Â¦ we just saw the midnight showing of Spiderman 3 and man, is there a lot to say about this movieââ¬Â¦ mostly because there is about enough story going on in it to make up two or three movies, but somehow Sam Raimi manages to jam it all into one. How successfully? Well, our review is a bit mixed, but if you disagree with us, and even if you donââ¬â¢t, leave us a comment and take us to task! ~Matt + Nat
Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael are back in a brand new all-CGI adventure acting as a sequel to the first and second movies (ignoring the largely unappreciated thirdââ¬Â¦ sound familiar, Superman III & IV?), and Director Kevin Munroe has brought together all manner of genre superstars including Buffy the Vampire Slayerââ¬â¢s Sarah Michelle Gellar, The Matrixââ¬â¢s Laurence Fishburne and Star Trek the Next Generationââ¬â¢s Patrick Stewart as well as the legendary Mako to voice the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles friends and enemies. Take a look at our quick sneak peek at TMNT today, but be sure to come back tomorrow for our in-depth interviews with cast members and exclusive clips from the movie that you wonââ¬â¢t get to see anywhere else! ~Matt + Nat
