“The OBAMA Brief - Galvanizing an Electorate” video is a graphical version of an ‘opinion piece’ that bears the same name. Because it is slightly longer than an article one might find in the New Yorker, Vanity Fair or New York Times Magazine and it is shorter than a short book, the transformation of an ‘opinion piece’ into a video will allow the ideas to be communicated in a succinct fashion. “The OBAMA Brief” was originally structured as a strategic document geared towards assisting then-Senator Obama and the Obama-Biden ticket in winning the White House. Since it wasn’t finalized until mid-October 2008, it has been revamped in a way that makes it’s recommendations more pertinent to the post-election transition period---75 days between winning the election and being inaugurated.

In the video with Obama at Rashid Khalidi's house, toasting the former PLO press director while anti-Israel comments fly about the room. Doug Ross, who talked to the LA writer, writes that Obama said at the party "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" "plus there's been genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis" and everyone cheered. Obama talks about dining at Rashidi's house and Rashidi has babysat Obama's children. He was there with Ayers and his wife. According an LA Times article written by Peter Wallsten in April, Obama was a "friend and frequent dinner companion" of Rashid Khalidi, who from 1976 to1982 was reportedly a director of the official Palestinian press agency, WAFA, which was operating in exile from Beirut with the PLO. In the article -- based on the videotape obtained by the Times -- Wallsten said Obama addressed an audience during a 2003 farewell dinner for Khalidi, who was Obama's colleague at the University of Chicago, before his departure for Columbia University in New York. Obama said his many talks with Khalidi and his wife Mona stood as "consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases." "Khalidi was a frequent dinner guest at the Obama's home and at his farewell dinner in 2003 Obama joined the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers in giving testimonials on Khalidi's role in the community," McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb said in a written statement. "The election is one week away, and it's unfortunate that the press so obviously favors Barack Obama that this campaign must publicly request that the Los Angeles Times do its job -- make information public." Khalidi is currently the Edward Said professor of Arab Studies at Columbia. A pro-Palestinian activist, he has been a fierce critic of American foreign policy and of Israel, which he has accused of establishing an "apartheid system" of government. The PLO advocate helped facilitate negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians in the early '90s, but he has denied he was ever an employee of the

Citizen Kate finds herself on the inside circle with friends and family of John McCain, "The Maverick", at the Republican National Convention. I had an amazing time at the RNC. I never realized how welcoming Republicans are until I met Ladies for McCain, Sambhu Banik, and Sid Rosen. Sid has known McCain forever. He really taught me about McCain's commitment to the people, his country and values. Sid really inspired me. I got amazing treatment with seats to McCain's nomination acceptance speech and an invite to the after party. That day, I learned what makes McCain the Maverick. As well as why he's so popular with the ladies and America. He's willing to go against the party, and stand strong for the people. McCain has a track record of standing his ground, being tough, and fighting for what's right. I wonder what his next Maverick move will be? Note to self: Republicans have big balls.
Obama and McCain get it on and dance.
