Video's from Countdown with Keith Olbermann. He's the only newscaster who dares to tell it like it is and speak the truth.
No video yesterday due to technical problems. You didn't miss much. Today is a different story as Keith has an excellent program for you. He goes into depth again about how Bush's plan all along was to occupy Iraq indefinitely with never any attention of getting out. He shows how the number of those killed and wounded are being changed so that the Repugs can claim a 75 percent decline in the casualty rate. The first two segments will certainly tick you off. Billo is back as worst person.
Labor day is over. It's time to get down to serious business. A New book is coming out called Dead Certain in which Bush says Bremer never told him he was disbanding the Iraqui Army. Bremer says other wise and provides the mails to catch the Shrub in yet another lie. Bush feeds the media and the public one of his b.s. lines about possibly some troops coming home. Keith catches him in a lie about this also when it turns out that the only thing Bush is interested in is keeping Republican support until October or November when the Republican candidate for President will have to sign on to a policy of keeping the troops in Iraq indefinitely. Keith gives a forceful and scathing commentary about the Liar Bush once again.
In the first segment, it's still more Dirty Larry Craig who may resign on Saturday. In other segments Keith takes a look at the mass exodus of Republicans from the White House, and then shows how to make a surge look like it's working. You simply quit counting most of those killed. A segment on Diana's Memorial service, Dragnet again, and Craig's strange comments about Clinton which are strange. Finally, the issue of whether Keith is wearing a toupee is explored as Tom Delay makes worst person.
In the opening segment its Dirty Larry of Idaho once again. Keith plays the recording made during Larry Craigs arrest. In other segments, Elizabeth Edwards say Hilary may be unelectable because of the vicious attack from the right wing nuttos of America. The GAO Iraq assessment is relesed before the White House can neuter it. Fred Thompson announces he will announce....soon. And Britney? She shows us a little cheek.
On the 2 year anniversary of the devastation following Hurricane Katrina, Keith and guests take a look at what is and isn't being done. It seems more money proportionately is going to Mississippi although it suffered much less severe damage than Louisiana. The difference? Mississippi is a Republican state with a Republican Governor. More on Senator Larry Craig, and the Republicans who are throwing him under the bus, especially Mitt Romney, who is throwing him and then backing over him a few times just to be sure. Keith does a re-enactment of the crime scene later in the program. Leona Helmsly left her pooch twelve million and gave two of her kids nothing. And she wants her tomb scrubbed a dub dub dubbed at least once a year.
Another day, another Republican hypocrite bites the dust. as anti-gay marriage, anti-everything Idaho Senator Larry Craig's restroom playtime is exposed. Rachael Maddow joins Keith to discuss Republicans who want to inflict their own brand of intolerance and morality on everybody else, while at the same time doing those things they preach against. Come visit my blog at: http://clydestuff.blogspot.com/ Bush drums up his scare tactics against Iran. I guess with all his incompetent cronies fleeing a sinking sheep, he wants to start another war so he'll have something to occupy his time with. Gone-zo, the Day after. A discussion about who the replacement for Gonzo will be. I can answer this. It will be a lifelong loyal and true friend of The Shrub who will do anything to keep his master happy. Flubbing up Miss South Carolina gets a redo. Luke Skywalker's light saber takes a trip into space.

Countdown with Keith Olbermann - Special Sunday Night Network Edition
Countdown with Keith Olbermann moves from cable outlet MSNBC to the NBC National network for a one night only special edition preceding the NFL game...in most cities. Out west here where I lived you really had to scramble to find it and at what time it would be shown which is why the first few seconds of this is missing.

NFL to Michael Vick: Don't Call Us, And we probably won't call you
The NFL told Michael Vick not to report to training camp. Whatever that means. My guess is Mr. Vick will probably not be playing quarterback anytime soon. Dan Abrams reports
In this video, Bob Costas interviewed the late but great newscaster, David Brinkley the night before the 1992 elections. It's a very entertaining interview, but what is amazing is how much of it still applies today as we head into the 2008 elections. It's certainly worth a look see.
You can compare the speech to what happened in the years that followed. A lot of the things he tried to do he was able to, but there were many disappointments. He did balance the budget, the first president to do so which may have been his biggest achievement. Of course, health care in this country has not improved and only has gotten worse. But you can't blame that failure entirely on the Clinton's as the Congress sold out to the millions of dollars of the Health Care Industry. I think what Clinton was most naive about was this idea that he could bring the country together. Little did he know at the time that from the time he was elected, the Republicans would institute their political version of the scorched earth policy. I have another video I will upload eventually from election night that shows an interview with Bob Dole on election night that was a harboring of what was to come from the Republicans.
Catherine Crier gives us a rundown on what things would be like if George Bush were King. Note that a lot of these things happened when he was King with a Republican Congress that helped turn our government into a Monarchy. Video is from http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/03/31/the-crier-wire-if-george-were-king/
I uploaded this to youtube way back in November. If I had known about Veoh then, I could have uploaded it here without splitting it up. As it is though, I had to upload it in Five Parts because my video editor wouldn't let me put Humpty Dumpty together again. If you watch Keith, you already know what this is. Part Three of Five
