  • In 2007 we visited the Hawaiian Plantation Villiage in Waipahu Hawaii. The village is a historical collection of stuff from the immigrant workers who came to Hawaii to work the sugar cane and pineapple plantations in the early 1900's. This video is of our guide who explained where the Okinawan people originated. Please comment if you have an opinion on what he says.

  • Kume Island was one of the places we visited in 2006. It is one of the islands of the Ryukyu Archepelaco. It takes 20 minutes by small plane to get there from Okinawa's Naha airport. We went with my wife's sisters and her mom. It was a really beautiful place.
