Need a good newer horror film, especially one with POV camera like Blair Witch

I like horror films that are smart and especially make you think "what if this is really happening" like Blair Witch Project, Night of the Living Dead, Cannibal Holocaust etc. I love when its done on POV camera like a documentary, but it has to be done right, as I didn't like Quarantine or Cloverfield, and I don't like gore that has no brains like Hostel but I liked Saw (just part I) since it had good story and twists. Can anyone help me find a new scary movie?

I don't blame you for not liking Quarantine, but the original Spanish version called [REC] is MUCH better. Another movie in the same vein is Romero's Diary of the Dead, if you're into zombie movies (personally I'm not especially, but I found Diary of the Dead VERY good). That's all I can think of for now, I hope I helped!

Horror that makes you want to claw your eyes out in not in a good way

The Audition. The friend of a lonely widower sets up a phony audition for a nonexistent film so the poor guy can find a new wife. He gets more than he bargained for - to say the least! Directed by Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike, the film starts out as a traditional romantic drama but gradually devolves into a disturbingly graphic horror flick - definitely not for all tastes! "Words create lies, pain can be trusted."

RISING DEAD Its so pathetic it was done on the cheap, i proberly spent more money on my shopping this week than they put in to this flick they call a horror.

Strange Circus .. if you want to be truly disturbed. Warning it will disrupt your luv life for at least a few day and your psyche ... well, maybe for quite a bit longer. Japanese horror goes way beyond the veil.

Your Most Terrifying Flick

'Just watched Trailer Park of Terror. My question is: if you get me to throw up, have I been terrified? Saw, Texas Chainsaw, Tourista, and Hostel are just a few of the paths horror movies have gone down lately, but are they terrifying or just disgusting? And can we even be terrified anymore or have we been jaded by over-exposure to brutality? Come to think of it, the last movie that really terrified me was The Exorcist. How 'bout you huys?
