The headman's son Deresa (an aborigine) was drowned while fishing in the swollen river. 12 other person including both our teachers accompanied him to the river. After more than 10 minutes at the bottom of the river, his lifeless body was retrieved. Thank God for His grace and mercy to thes new believers by resurrecting Deresa. The villagers faith were strenghtened and God prepared them to faced the persecution of those `abusers of authority'.

The headman's son Deresa of Kg. Regang, Pahang, Malaysia was drowned when he went fishing with 12 others and among them were our 2 co-workers (Christian Missionaries) who were there to teach the child to read and write. After more than 10 minutes the lifeless body of Deresa was retrieved from the bottom of the swollen river.
