We made our first trip back to Seoul in more than a year. Here, I recorded the massive (and that's saying something in re: Korean apt. blocks) development right outside of the express bus terminal.
We returned rom our trip to Cheonghakdong and made a stop at the bus terminal just as a local parade to celebrate the birth of Buddha wound its way past. I dropped off my companions, returned the rental car, and then quickly captured some of the floats as the dharma party ended.

A musical troupe from the provincial arts council came to one of my schools this afternoon (thus cancelling two of my classes). My co-teachers thought I'd take advantage of the schedule change and go home, but I explained that I love traditional music -- and one of my favorite instruments, the gayageum, was among those being played. I might break this into segments later, but for now: 45 minutes of folk funk.
