"Here. My Explosion..." First Day of Principal Photography.
Today we starting principal photography on "Here. My Explosion...", after the shoot I cut together the first scene (49) that we filmed, and here is the result. Enjoy! Shot with the $600 wonder known as the Canon HF100 and I was the DP for the day.
This is an experiment using a HD camera testing how we could use and how much to use the tilt-shift effects in various types of shots (establishing to close-ups). Music composed by me (available at our site for free - go to music MySpace link.)
I have just taken the low quality video from a flip camera and was seeing how interesting I could quickly make it with some inspiration from tilt-shift techniques.
Production of "The Head" is on hold. Doing another (more fun and upbeat) movie instead.
