Its like this anime never came out. No one ever talks about it. What was it like? I quit after ep 1 with the ice alchemist, it was ok, but it seemed like a remake 20 years too early.
I agree first couple of episodes had me thinking here we go again, another series that's going to be milked for all it's worth, but around episode 15, the series took off in a new direction, new characters are introduced, characters who where pretty much used for comic relief in original FMA are given character development, the story is no longer dragged down by all the side stories getting in the way
overall I think FMA:Brotherhood outsihnes the original FMA in every department, I'd say those who have already the original FMA start watching Brotherhood at episode 15, since the first 14 episodes are just a retelling of how Ed and Al lost there bodies trying to save there mother and there journey to collect the Philosopher stones.
Wow, now thats some useful info! Outshines the original?!?! Thats a bold statement, FMA was amazing and had some epic moments like when Sloth died and the little girl got made into a Chemera. But you know your stuff. I'm eager for more epic scenes. The magic from when I used to watch it on Adult Swim Saturday nights might still be there. Ah memories...
9/10* A slice-of-life comedy like Lucky Star about the daily lives of 4 girls (preteens) and an older borderline-lolicon sister (20 yrs old). Every episode of this anime leaves you feeling good and is touching but still manages to be funny, kind of like a cross between Kanon and Lucky Star. However, its not boring as Kanon, and isn't random mini-episodes like Lucky Star. The chemistry between the girls is perfect and the show has great replay value. Thanks Kevo for reuploading it!
Sorry its called Strawberry Marshmallow (the dub), which is in our videos. In Japanese, Ichigo = Strawberry. They also pronounce and translate English words differently because of their alphabet. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!
Its about a group of girls in a world where people have pyschic powers (kind of like superheros have). This was a "schoolgirl club anime" for most of the first few episodes to me, which isn't bad though its things you may have seen before, but episode 5 is starting to focus more on a new perspective of action action and becoming more engaging and really good. The opening song is very good too. This is a great starter anime!
Disappointing -_- sure the 5th episode was better but unless the rest of them are like that this anime is doomed. Perverted fangirls? Im over it. They better put more emphases on the fighting...
THE BEST *Nyan Koi (9/10) Not as humorous as Excel Saga or Lucky Star, but still funny, charming and very cute- this is my fave this year. Its pretty original and not so predictable you get annoyed. *Armed Librarians (8/10) Engaging dark adventure, but can't compete with classics like Death Note so far. Characters are mostly original, though not interesting yet. Also unpredictable, but mostly since the world is new to me. Lots of potential. If there is one anime you must see, its probably this.
