    ShishioKagezuchi 13 months ago

Hmm I love sad scenes; so many, and there's happy-sad and sad-sad; here's my five saddest anime scenes, but you don't have to do a list: 5. AIR TV when she called her aunt by "mama" and they ran to each other 4. when Naruto cried for Gaara after he died 3. the last scene in Elfen Lied with Maruko and Kurama 2. Higurashi Kai when Sachiko was saved from her abusive uncle 1. the disappointing end of Inuyasha lol, no, the end of Samurai X, that was the epitome of sadness!

ah yeah i agree with you on all of those for me it was 15. kanon when makoto couldn't speak, 14.) air when the the girl explained to her aunt that she had accomplished her goal, 13.) yami to boushi's end, 12.) ayakashi when the little girl was bleeding every where. 11.) princess monoke all around was sad, 10.) higurashi when rika was stabbing herself in the head. 9.) School days the end 8.) the end of the 1st pokemon movie lol, 7.) Gosyusho-sama Ninomiya-kun ending. (man that was just so sad) 6.) H20 footprints in the sand when the girl gets run over buy the train trying to save the little boy when dieing the same death as his mother. 5.) When L dies. 6.) elfin lied when you saw the horrible past of the girl in the sweat shirt, 5.) negima when asuna falls dead. 4.) Kanon's opening, 3.) kagihime when kisa dies. Some where samurai X's begging of the episode fits in here 2.) Samurai girl real bout highschool ending 1.) shinigami no ballad is just sad all around 0.) death note ending.

The saddest anime scene is in Lain when the girl died to let her best friend live. It made me cry. i was only eight at the time.

    (5) The whole Grave of the Fireflies movie, was extremely sad having to see all the hardships that Setsuko and Seita had to go through because of the war but I think the most emotional scene for me was when they showed Setsuko and Seita happy together in the afterlife (4) In Air when Misuzu dies, and her mother is sad because they had just started to become a family (3) The ending of Samurai X, when Kenshin and Kouru's finally meet again only too have Kenshin die in her arms(2) The final episode of Elfen Lied, especially in the scene where Kurama tell's his daughter he loves her and then the both blow up together, and having Nana crying because her dad died didn't make holding the tears back any easier, lol (1) In Saikano when Akemi dies in the hospital after screaming to Shuji how I don't want to die, one of the most emotional scenes I've ever seen

For me it was the ending of Code Geass, when Lelouch dies and everyone think he is the bad guy although he was actually the one who had plannes to get killed by his best friend and be thought as the evil guy.

In no particular order, the end of berserk, the end of code geass, the end of fate/stay night, the ending of the first samurai x, when his wife dies, and probably a bunch more, I get sad watching anime fairly easy.

Well, the ending to Witchblade made me cry, that would be the saddest i can think of. When they're going to kill Nana in Elfen Lied would be really high up there, and when Chikane and Himeko were seperated in the last episode of Kane no Miko. On a side note, damn you Karate-sushi, I was just about to watch lain.
