If you are looking for another NPR style beer tasting show... You are probably going to be disappointed. Who are we kidding? There are about 20 podcasts that sniff, swallow, twaddle and judge beer like fine wine. We are not one of those! We do drink a lot of good beer... And as a bonus you get to see us talk about it (well, kinda)... On a weak moment we will drink some fufu or sh*t beer! Beers that other shows wont touch with a 10 foot pole! The Beer Report is about "confrontation" as CHUD would say... The beer is the catalyst to everything else that is created for the show. Comedy, vulgarity, offensive points of view abound ahead! We dont have a lot of fans. Andrea Bocelli fans are kinda pissed about that one vidcast... Ummm, now that we think about it, most Belgium-ites, Canadians, Gamer Geeks, Brazilians, Far Point Media fans and Vampires really hate our show.
Groucho and Michael from Specialty Imports take a walk down the wall of beer at Friar Tuck in Peoria IL.
This is the video we shot while hanging out on Saturday at the Peoria Beerfest. It was a great time, probably record breaking in attendance and cold! Dont pitty us though… We had some killer brews and hung out with some cool beer people! Check it out! Look for show 43 with a wrap-up of Night of the Barrels and more talk about the fest! How are we gonna wait till next year???
Groucho and CHUD take a walk with Matt Potts through his new Destihl Brewery in Normal Illinois.

The Beer Report Vidcast #12 - O'Fallon Cherry Chocolate
Its a lost episode for a reason... CHUD can barely keep his head up... I am still not sure why I am even releasing this one! Enjoy the conflicting opinions on one of the Midwests most popular seasonal beers! Remember... Drink lots of O'Fallon!
We thought the brewery was deceased! So we were wrong! Its these kinds of hard hitting facts and half truths that put the Beer Report in a league of its own. Groucho and CHUD have come across a bottle of IC in Pekin... The Pittsburgh legend will now get a TBR review. Sit back and enjoy as the brothers savor all the nuances that have put this once great beer on deaths door! (Who are we kidding... These guys go belly-up... Another brewery will pick this name up in a heartbeat!)
This is what we have all waited for... Our favorite beer from our recent trip abroad gets it moment in the spotlight... Much has been said about the plain and bland character of the Hobgoblin beer by other shows and beer reviews. But none have ever reviewed the can. Tonight, we go head to head with the Wychwood All-star. Pitting Brother against Brother, Beer against Beer, in a steel cage battle royale in which there can be only one winner... Is that a little much? Sorry! Anyway, we taste them both. Be prepared to be surprised... Or maybe not? It rings in at 13 minutes... Its 2 beers and a little something special. BONUS: Stick around for The Beer Report Mailbag at the end of the show... It promises to be better than the show!
Wow! 2 shows in a row where you see our faces! You sorry bastards! Check out a poor mans beer fest in Central Illinois! No brewery reps or kegs at this one! Just good old ice tubs full of beer from the local liquor stores! This film taken at the 7th Annual Bloomington Jaycees Beer and BBQ Fest. We were there for a few hours, and ran the whole crowd off! Look for cameos from Margaret, CHUMP, Sister Sly and the rarely talked about Humberto.
Yeah, we finally drank it! This bottle has been mellowing in the TBR fridge for almost a year... We finally found a weak moment were Groucho and CHUD agreed to break this thing open! (Oh, and we were pretty trashed by the time this was recorded) Also of note: Download music from Too Much Joy at www.sayhername.com Check out Ambitious Brew by Maureen Ogle at www.maureenogle.com Also, don't drink this beer unsupervised... We are professionals, and are equipped with the fortitude to withstand its ill effects
Ho Ho Ho... Merry Christmas... And a happy whatever to everyone else! Groucho and CHUD sample one of this seasons most anticipated Holiday Beers... The Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome Ale. With all the recent hype about this beer this season, we were sure this would be a great bottle of beer... Watch and see! Intro music provided by www.sayhername.com . Happy Holidays!
Its the Stone Brew Festival Special! Groucho & CHUD make it out to SoCal to hang out with the guys from Dude Night. Along the way we meet Rick from Big Foamy Head and Keel-hauler (Superfan of TRHH). I will admit to a very amateur video... Hopefully you can forgive us! We did manage to bring in an interview with Greg Koch, the CEO of Stone Brewery! Suck on that! Music clip provided by Psychostick. visit them on the web: http://www.psychostick.com http://www.myspace.com/psychostick http://www.rockridgestore.com PROST!

The Beer Report Vidcast #4 - Sierra Nevada Summerfest
Back for more? This episode is centered on a seasonal Lager from the good folks at Sierra Nevada. We have some mixed feeling about the beer, and this kinda shows by your wishy washy review. Its long... Again! Next one will be shorter, I swear (Plus I already editted it and know!)... Note the awesome Dudenight art in the background!
OK, lets try this again! On tap this week... Rolling Rock! Just in time for the big buy-out. Groucho & CHUD try out some of the pride of Latrobe before its brewed in New Jersey at an Anhieser Busch brewery. Worth Noting: Partywithjoe.com, he was a Rolling Rock sponsored website, but that has since passed. Spoon and Sickpuppy from Shouldidrinkthat.com get some love because they live in Pennsylvania. (Sorry Craft Beer Radio, we forgot in the heat of the moment!) Ben Roethlisberger and motorcycles Al-Qaeda Look for a new Vidcast soon!
Its too long, and its pretty boring towards the end... Sorry, there seems to be a bit of a learning curve to this video thing! CHUD gives a look inside what normally goes on at TBR studios... Groucho stumbles around trying to figure out where this beer is from. Big Foamy Head gets its just deserts when mentioned on our show! Enjoy, or just pass this one by and check out the next one... Its sure to be better!
Bongiorno! Groucho and Margaret have just returned from a Mediterranean Cruise. Here is one little bit from our family DVD that Margaret has had me slaving away on. Recorded at the Historic city of Pompeii. Catch all the nuances and culture that bring this video a touch of European class... Something not found at Studio B of Pekin Beer Report Studios! Enjoy! Gratzi!

The Beer Report Vidcast #10 - The Peoria Homebrewer Bus Trip
We are not homebrewers and we are not from Peoria... But they let us on the bus regardless! Granted, we were at the back of the bus! Join us for an exciting time in Chicago. Along the way, we hit such famous spots as: The Map Room, Goose Island, The Red Lion, Piece Pizza and Brewery. Will they have us back? Its hard to say, watch the video, or listen to the audio to find out. Beers on the show??? Hell, who knows! We had a pile of beers everywhere we went. We tried plenty of Goose Island beer... And we made a noble attempt at the Belgium ales on tap at the Maproom. See if you can count out how many beers made it on the show! Download the audio version of this audio-video jigsaw puzzle here: http://media.libsyn.com/media/thebeerreport/TBR28.mp3 My Veoh Show
OK, its not the first time we have tried this, but its certainly the first widespread release of this type of broadcast. Groucho and CHUD keep it short and simple with a 5 minute tasting of O'Fallon Brewery's Smoked Porter. A Midwest secret that is surely ready to burst upon the rest of the US. Enjoy... And if you think about it, throw an extra prayer our way! Click here to bask in the wonderment of video

The Beer Report Vidcast #9 - Lost Duck Brewing Company
Groucho went out of town for the Holidays... And what should he find? A totally hidden brew pub in Fort Madision Iowa! Hooray, now we have a reason to like seeing the inlaws! Check out some Lost Duck on this video, and search it out if you are ever in Southeast Iowa! Also on the show, we pretty much dismiss the rest of the state. Except for Maureen Ogle, she wrote a book called 'Ambitious Brew'. Its the story of brewing in America. Check it out at www.maureenogle.com . Also of note, more love for the O'Fallon Brewery. Look for more podcasts and stupid beer stuff at www.thebeerreport.com Thanks for watching!
