“The Academy” is a reality series with a behind-the-scenes look at police recruits training in Southern California. Tough as nails drill instructor Deputy Miley (a.k.a. The Ramrod) kicks off each class with the physically brutal Black Monday at the Los Angeles County Sheriff Academy, where the recruits will either succeed or be separated from the program.
