IFC Entertainment is the film distribution, production and exhibition division of Rainbow Media Holdings that uses its unique cross-platform position to broaden the audience of independent films and provide independent filmmakers with a strong voice. IFC Entertainment includes: IFC Films, a theatrical film distribution company that brings the best of independent and specialized films to theaters; IFC First Take, which releases 24 films a year theatrically across the country and distributes them simultaneously On Demand via IFC In Theaters; IFC Productions, a feature film production company that provides financing for select independent film projects; and the IFC Center, the bricks and mortar home of IFC in NYC. In addition, IFC Films' titles are available On Demand through IFC Films On Demand.
