FIRST ON THE MOON: THE UNTOLD STORY aka APOLLO 11: THE UNTOLD STORY (Discovery Channel) .divx
When Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon in July 1969, Apollo 11 was hailed as the supreme triumph of American technology. But behind the flag waving lies a very different story: the untold account of how close the mission came to disaster. Now, nearly forty years later, men on that mission reveal what really happened on the first voyage to the moon. It's a tale of how primitive computer technology, coupled with human errors and mechanical failures, nearly caused the tragic loss of the crew.

The first film of its kind to chronicle the reasons behind Iraq’s descent into guerilla war, warlord rule, criminality and anarchy, NO END IN SIGHT is a jaw-dropping, insider’s tale of wholesale incompetence, recklessness and venality. Based on over 200 hours of footage, the film provides a candid retelling of the events following the fall of Baghdad in 2003 by high ranking officials such as former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, Ambassador Barbara Bodine (in charge of Baghdad during the Spring of 2003), Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell, and General Jay Garner (in charge of the occupation of Iraq through May 2003), as well as Iraqi civilians, American soldiers and prominent analysts. This film examines the manner in which the principal errors of U.S. policy – the use of insufficient troop levels, allowing the looting of Baghdad, the purging of professionals from the Iraqi government and the disbanding of the Iraqi military – largely created the insurgency.
A sophisticated and heartfelt comedy. In the 1939-set romantic tale, Miss Guinevere Pettigrew (Academy Award winner Frances McDormand), a middle-aged London governess, finds herself unfairly dismissed from her job. An attempt to gain new employment catapults her into the glamorous world and dizzying social whirl of an American actress and singer, Delysia Lafosse (Academy Award nominee Amy Adams). Within minutes, Miss Pettigrew finds herself swept into a heady high-society milieu -- and, by the end of the day, discovers her own romantic destiny. In theaters March 7th.

Tells the tale of a real life strike by Mexican-American miners. The story is set in a remote New Mexico town where the workers live in a company town in company owned shacks without basic plumbing. Put at risk by cost cutting bosses, the miners strike for safe working conditions. As the strike progresses the issues at stake grow beyond that, driven by the workers' wives. At first the wives are patronized by the traditional patriarchical culture, however they assert themselves as equals and an integral part of the struggle, calling for improved sanitation and dignified treatment. Ultimately, when the bosses win a court order against the workers preventing them from demonstrating gender roles reverse with the wives taking over the picket line and preventing scab workers from being brought in while the husbands stay at home and take care of house and children.

significance of bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki: Nuclear Bomb Effects Hiroshima Film
Tale of Two Cities is a famous American-produced film about the aftermath of the devastating nuclear weapon attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima from World War 2. The powerful footage shows the destruction of the two cities months after the attacks, including ground zero and the shadows of vaporized people. The film is punctuated by interviews with locals, including atomic bomb survivors. The narration hints at the guilt that America as a country felt after the attacks, with the dubious claim (repeated twice) that the bombs had been detonated at a high enough elevation that fallout would not harm the populace. A pillar of American and World history, Tale of Two Cities is a gripping examination of the first atomic bomb explosions and the death and destruction they caused.
Basically this is a badly animated, badly written, badly edited and badly dubbed Italian animated film, it's based on the true story and hit film Titanic and steals elements of Disney's Cinderella, 101 Dalmations, An American Tale and other films by Disney and other creators. A notable part of the film is the completely out of place, and completely implausible Party Time rap scene featuring a talking dog wearing a backwards cap, and holding a boombox, there's some interesting info for history class kids, rapping was created on the titanic in 1912 by a talking dog, enjoy a big juicy A for that! Other wacky hijinks happen with the various animals and the two lovers (no nude drawing scene sadly), and a subplot about the main girl's long lost mother or some shit, I don't know. I didn't add the credits because they will need two more parts, and not many noteworthy people worked on this peice of crap. If you're interested an extended version of the film has been found, featuring not much here's a link to the user that has it uploaded http://www.youtube.com/user/DocSane

Huge Coyote Pack Chase Stalk Whitetail Human Rare View Attac
Video shows an extremely rare view of a huge pack of wild coyotes. The coyote is thought of as a solitary hunter, however this video shows a huge pack. When I was filming them, I counted at least 10 individuals, but think there were more in the tall hay. One began to chase me, but then changed its mind. This may be the largest coyote pack filmed. The next portion of the video shows coyotes in the same area at a different time. This was after dark and I was alone. The coyotes began to howl. This scared both a whitetail deer and me. The deer ran away quickly, but I had some expensive camera equipment, so I just walked fast to get away. The coyotes were very brash and may have planned an attack. They certainly scared us and chased us away from their territory quickly. Because it was dark, all I could film were trees going by as I quickly left. Some of the coyotes were very close. These coyotes not only formed packs as wolves do, they were also quite large for coyotes. Young ones were the size of a medium sized dog. Ones had been killed weighting around 50 pounds and some looked a lot larger than that. The next portion of the video shows a large baby coyote that still had its baby teeth. It is much larger than a pekenise dog. The next portion shows a coyote hunting. It digs for, attacks, kills, and eats a small animal, probably a rodent. The coyote pack was seen on a very windy night of the full moon. The full moon is associated with canine behavior such as lychanthropy humans changing into wolves, or werewolves. The related idea of shape-shifters, such as a change into a werewolf, is common in tales from all over the world, most notably amongst the American Indians, though most of them involve animal forms other than wolves. The coyote does most of its hunting alone and at night. The packs are generally smll
