Dragons' Den - Dragons Stories - Theo Paphitis' Story
If you're a devotee of the Den, then you'll enjoy this peek into the Dragons' lair. Tonight's focus is on Theo Paphitis, who joined the team in 2005 and injected a sense of fun with his entrepreneurial thrust and blunt one-liners. This light-hearted doc (shown on BBC2 last October) follows up deals made on the show, such as the iTeddy. It noses into Theo's Cypriot background and millionaire lifestyle, and even corners a magnanimous Duncan Bannatyne, who says he's learnt a lot about retail nous from his fellow Dragon. An entertaining and illuminating journey through the 18 other countries that now have their own versions of the hit programme. Featuring some of the most bizarre inventions and cringeworthy pitches, the angriest exchanges, as well as the joyous moments when the plucky entrepreneur actually gets investment.
Sean Fee of iFoods is nervous, that is because he and Niall will be presenting iFoods to the Dragons' Den on BBC2 at 9pm - check out the iFoods blog for a post Den interview.
