A Korean Cinderella Story kind of... "Wish Upon a Star aka Star in My Heart" has it all High fashion, music, love, hate, dreams and let downs. Yun-hee (Choi Jin Shil) has lived in an orphanage since her father passed away. Later she's adopted into a hostile family environment by one of her father's friends. With the evil stepmother Ms. Song (Park Won Sook) and evil stepsister (Jeon Do Yeon) treating her like low class theif she decides to take her fate into her own hands. Yun-hee has two heroes to help her along the way: Kang Min-Hee (Ahn Jae Wook), a young man who dreams of becoming a successful singer despite his father's objections, and Lee Joon-Hee (Cha In Pyo), a top fashion design executive.

The life of the third girl, Yekaterina, is a contemporary Cinderella story. She had her share of disappointments, but did not despair. In twenty years she built up a career and became the director of a big enterprise. A single parent of a daughter, she finally meets the right man and, after long and bitter years of loneliness, finds true happiness...

The Distillery District is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. It was built in 1832 as the Gooderham and Worts Distillery, and has since been renovated and re-developed to feature numerous boutique retailers, cafes, restaurants, shops and art galleries. With over forty heritage buildings, the Distillery District boasts the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America. It is interesting to note that the Distillery District is the largest Hollywood set outside of Hollywood.
