Shirley Temple Video Clip Free: The Little Princess (1939)
Shirley Temple was America’s daughter, and this was the first time the nation got to see their daughter in color! The Little Princess is a dazzlingly sweet Technicolor classic, surely one of Temple’s finest feature length productions. A period piece set at the turn of the tail end of the twentieth century, Temple finds herself lonely as her widowed father goes off to war. She isn’t, however, uncared for: her father’s estate provides every comfort. Things turn hard when the poor girl gets a letter informing her of her father’s death. She’s forced to attend a boarding school for girls with a strict headmistress. The despond child plucks up and keeps hope, leading to the touching end. The sentimentality in The Little Princess is heavy – as any good Shirley Temple movie should be. But supported by a good cast and beautiful color scenery, this is an exception Shirley Temple film.
This is a very good movie, It was made by Derek Lake, who died in a car crash after makeing this movie. I got the file finaly, and i want to share it with the world. Derek made this film for under $800 with one camera when he was 19 years old, between his freshman and sophomore years in film school. Following his tragic accident, and a high demand for this now-cult classic. This film uses the intellectual property of Lucasfilm, Ltd. and, consequently, it is illegal for it to generate revenue in any way.

War Babies - Short Feature - Shirley Temple
One of several shorts made early in Shirley Temple's career, War Babies is essentially a take-off on war movie conventions, performed by a cast of infants and very young children. Babies takes place at Buttermilk Pete's Café, where the dress code runs to diapers and rubber pants, with the occasional army helmet, tie or vest thrown in for good measure.
Based upon the title story by the classic of the national literature Boris Vasilyev (âThe Dawns Here Are Quietâ, âOfficersâ), this film recreates with an amazing authenticity the atmosphere of the 1930s-1940s Soviet Union, which stirs at once the feelings of admiration and horror, and, thus, mesmerizes and enticesâ¦The year is 1940. A small provincial town. A 9-year schoolgirl, Vika Lyuberetskaya, recites poems by the âbannedâ poet Sergey Yesenin. Soon her father is arrested as âan enemy of the peopleâ. The girl gets hunted at school after that, and she commits suicide. And tomorrow the war starts and almost all of yesterdayâs schoolchildren are to die in its fire⦠Somebody was burned in a tank, somebody was hanged for participation in resistance, somebody became an ace pilot. It is a great movie, see it if you have an opportunity... May be you would learn something you did not know about people from the USSR and about this period of history. The filmâs soundtrack includes music of the 1930s and works by Antonio Vivaldi.
BBC Television's live production of George Orwell's "1984". Produced in 1954. Creative Commons license: Public Domain. Nineteen Eighty-Four is a classic dystopian novel by English author George Orwell. Published in 1949, it is set in the eponymous year and focuses on a repressive, totalitarian regime. The story follows the life of one seemingly insignificant man, Winston Smith, a civil servant assigned the task of falsifying records and political literature, thus effectively perpetuating propaganda, who grows disillusioned with his meagre existence and so begins a rebellion against the system. The novel has become famous for its portrayal of surveillance and society's increasing encroachment on the rights of the individual. Since its publication the terms Big Brother and Orwellian have entered the popular vernacular. Orwell, who had "encapsulated the thesis at the heart of his novel" in 1944, wrote most of Nineteen Eighty-Four on the island of Jura, Scotland, during 19471948 while critically ill with tuberculosis. He sent the final typescript to his friends Secker and Warburg on 4 December 1948 and the book was published on 8 June 1949. Nineteen Eighty-Four has been translated into more than 50 languages. The novel's title, its terms, its language (Newspeak), and its author's surname are bywords for personal privacy lost to national state security. The adjective "Orwellian" denotes many things. It can refer to totalitarian action or organization, as well as governmental attempts to control or misuse information for the purposes of controlling, pacifying or even subjugating the population. "Orwellian" can also refer generally to twisted language which says the opposite of what it truly means, or specifically governmental propagandizing by the misnaming of things; hence the "Ministry of Peace" in the novel actually deals with war and the "Ministry of Love" actually tortures people. Since the novel's publication "Orwellian" has in fact become somewhat of a catch-all for any kind of governmental overreach or dishone

After they mistakenly target an innocent old man as the operative and The General cold-bloodily murders him, both Edgar and Elsa question the morality of the mission, especially when The General only finds amusement in the blunder. When they eventually discover the spy's true identity, Elsa is determined to stop her two fellow agents from fulfilling the mission.
