Taken from Wikipedia: Romeo & Juliet: Sealed with a Kiss is an animated feature fantasy about two star-crossed seals from warring families that fall in love against their parents' wishes. It loosely follows the traditional play, Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare. It was written, animated and directed entirely by one person: former Disney animator Phil Nibbelink. The film took 4 1/2 years to make and required 112,000 frames, which were drawn by Nibbelink on a Wacom tablet directly into Flash 4, in combination with Moho.
The film is set two years after the original film, Sarkar. When Anita Rajan, CEO of an international firm, brings the Nagres a power plant proposal to set up in rural areas of Maharashtra, Subhash Nagre visits Thakerwadi (a rural area in that state) to seek permission for the plant from his mentor, Rao Saab. The Westernized and business-suited Shankar is quick to realize the plant's benefits, which will nonetheless required relocating 40,000 people in five villages. After convincing Sarkar, Shankar, along with Anita, visits the villages to mobilize support from the masses. However, things are not what they seem to be. From shady fixers with an eye on multi-million kickbacks to a political firebrands ready to incite the people against the controversial project, Shankar's dream gradually becomes a nightmare of infighting, betrayal, bribery and kidapping. Shankar also feels that he is now the Sarkar (a title essentially meaning "Overlord"), and that he has legitimately taken his father's place.
Bryan Mills (Neeson) quits his job as a 'preventer' working for the CIA or FBI or another organization known by its initials to try and connect with his daughter Kim who he pretty much ignored while she was growing up. Now that she's turning 17, Bryan's decided it's time to try and have a relationship with Kim. His ex-wife's not happy about his sudden desire to become a part of their daughter's life, but Bryan's convinced it's the thing to do. Now retired, Bryan lives off his pension and money made from taking the occasional odd job with his ex-government agency buddies. One job finds him and his three ex co-workers guarding a pop singer on her way into and out of a concert. Now, we never find out why this pop singer is attacked after leaving the stage, but she is and Bryan happens to be the temporary bodyguard who saves her. She, of course, is grateful and gives him a reward for his bravery that you know is going to figure big somewhere down the line in the film.

Although valiant herself in trying to rescue the family‘s grandfather, there is no choice but to leave her behind in the evacuation of all the village‘s inhabitants. The film follows her adventures as well as those of the two children to whom she belongs during two long and arduous weeks of separation.

A brilliant and pretty obscure look at the flip side of swinging sixties London. Narrated by a rather sardonic and sometimes scathing James Mason, we are taken on a tour of the underbelly of London. The film is artfully edited and offers straight factual history with real life characters/ street performers/ vendors who seem very unaware of the camera. The documentary has extremely surreal and quite tragic scenes by turn and encapsulates a London undocumented in the media of the time. The film is too short and could easily have been extended to a series of particular areas of London. The film has occasional screenings in art-house cinemas and should be seen by anyone interested in the history of London and documentary makers.
JET LI Twin Warriors [Part 02] : This film is one of the best examples of Jet Li's masterpiece before he headed out to Hollywood. Directed by Yuen Woo Ping, who has also taken his talent onto the US, this film is a true masterpiece of Hong Kong cinema. The story itself is a traditional one of childhood friends that end up mortal enemies (see Yuen Woo Ping's 1980 offering; Buddhist Fist). It is simple but works really well, as Chin Siu Ho ends up becoming really really evil. The main characters have more than adequate support from Michelle Yeoh who turns in one of her best performances.

He hasn't seen her for several years and has just taken her away from the boarding school she was immured in. She is now 15, and for some reason is doing everything in her power to get him to have sex with her. She even brings herself to orgasm while lying in the bed next to him. He goes nearly apoplectic trying to avoid her advances. Eventually, her school chum Therese comes to visit them, and Guido at last has a semi-suitable object for his by now quite overheated passions. The story is loosely based on a novel by Guido Morselli.

Perversion for Profit is a 1965 propaganda film financed by Charles Keating and narrated by George Putnam. A vehement diatribe against pornography, the film attempts to link explicit portrayals of human sexuality to the subversion of American civilization, and briefly draws a parallel between pornography and the Communist conspiracy. The film is in the public domain, and it has become a popular download from the Prelinger Archives. Perversion for Profit illustrates its claims with still images taken from various soft core pornography magazines of the period, though with some portions of human anatomy obscured by colored rectangles. To bolster his position, Putnam makes several references to "Dr. Sorokin, the renowned Harvard sociologist". This individual is Pitirim Sorokin, a Russian-American who founded Harvard's Sociology department and served as the American Sociological Association's 55th president. In an article discussing the Prelinger Archives for the San Francisco Chronicle, Peter L. Stein observes that the film has gained a different sort of utility than its producers intended: ...as the parade of girlie magazine covers, men's physique pictorials and campy S&M leaflets continues, the film betrays a kind of prurience the filmmakers could hardly have intended. Far too many exotic cats are in private hands where they are doing nothing for the conservation of the species. These pets are often exhibited in public under the guise of education. These cats are exploited for photo ops when they are cubs and discarded to horrible unaccredited pseudo sanctuaries or roadside zoos when they are adults. The real way to save these great cats is to preserve habitat. Do not throw your money away into an exotic pet trade that does nothing for the survival of the cats. All of the footage was taken in the first couple of weeks in 2007, 60 miles or less from our own gates. Some of it was filmed at the Florida State Fair FWC exhibit where people watched the pacing animals (borrowed from a local pet owner) in their tiny exhibit cages. No one spoke to the children about real conservation, and nothing was learned. We all have grown tired of seeing animals living in these conditions.
