Trespasser is a fascinating game. Set to be the most revolutionary FPS of 1997, the end result was less than desirable. The game was going to pioneer many features that have become standard in FPS games in recent years. Physics, complex AI, real-time shadowing, water shader technology, an animation system based entirely on inverse kinematics, bump mapping and specular highlighting, and an amazing sound system. Trespasser was going to change the face of the FPS in 1997 forever. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong, did. Poor communication with the development team, going over-budget, being delayed... in the end, Trespasser, a game intended to be more of a puzzle-based survival horror game, was shifted to become an action-based FPS, and shipped with tons of bugs, broken features, cumbersome controls and missing content. Every revolutionary feature contained within the game was completely ignored in favor of how horribly awful every other aspect of it was. That's not to say the game isn't without it's charm, or without it's fans, though. Even Gabe Newell, at one point, has said Trespasser inspired him to include physics in the Half-Life 2 engine, and FarCry seems to take a lot of what Trespasser wanted to do, and does it the right way - early versions of FarCry even featured Dinosaurs. The fansite Trescom provides Trespasser related content even today. Still more projects have been born to remake the game in newer, more able game engines, like the aformentioned FarCry Engine. The game puts you in the shoes of Anne, a woman who decides to take an unannounced vacation and ends up having crash-landed on Isla Sorna; "Site B". The experience ends up changing her life and makes her appreciate her old life more than ever before. As you play, clips of John Hammond's memoirs play, voiced by Richard Attenborough himself. Minnie Driver plays Anne. Truly, Hammond's Memoir's are one of the few redeeming factors you get out of playing Trespasser. It's worth noting that the man behind Trespasser's concept was Seamus

Well ok, enough of my wining now if your still reading. Story. Namine woke up as the night went on, wondering where her brother was. She went to look for him. She shouted his name but there was no reply. But then she saw him lying on the ground moaning in pain. She ran up to him terrified of what will happen and tried to comfort him. His last words were "for the, both of us." after that he fell into a deep sleep, and never awoke. Namine never stopped grieving over her brothers loss. A year had pasted now. Spring had come around again, but wasn't the same without him. Namine was fostered bu her two foster parents Larxene and Axel. Who didn't treat her fairly. If she ever disobeyed them or disagreed on something they would shout at her and abuse her. Eventually namine had enough and wanted to just run far away. But the large white doors always sopped her. Larxene was so furious she took Namine's star charm. It was the last thing she had of her brother who gave it to her when she was little. She became very angry and snatched her charm out of Larxene's hands and ran. The doors were unlocked, her escape was finally made.
