One of my subscribers wanted me to fix his Honeybee King 2 Helicopter, so he sent it to me. This video shows what I found wrong. The only thing wrong was just that it was not set up properly. First of all, let me stress that a lot of these so-called upgrades that sales people talk you into are useless. You will see why in this video. 2nd, the Honeybee King 2 is not a good heli to learn on. Again, I say Learn on a VW, and if you never crash it, then you can buy the Porsche. Most people also think they are more coordinated than they are with helis and find out the hard way in labor and parts that it would have been better to learn on something easy to start with, not a full blown 3-Dimensional Stunt flying helicopter. Most people expect a delicate, lightweight machine to be able to withstand all kinds of abuse. Remember, real helicopters cannot take any crashes either, so I dont know why you expect an 18-ounce machine to be indestructible! It is best to get lessons from an experienced pilot. You would not go jump into a real helicopter and expect you could fly it right away, so dont expect that with a model. It takes years for the majority to simply hover reliably, and gyros do not do exactly what you think or read that they can do. They are simply a crutch. a happy ending for a snowboarder lost overnight in santa fe. this morning a blackhawk helicopter from the national guard picked the lost snow- boarder up and brought him to safety. gadi schwartz was there when that blackhawk landed- he is live in santa fe with how the rescue happened. jason pinney says he got separated from his friends on the second run of yesterday morning. had to spend the night under a tree with nothing to eat but snow. tonight he and the crew of the blackhawk that saved him give us a first hand account of how he was rescued this morning. "earlier this morning we got notified that state police was out looking for a someone." "we were called in early to get an aircraft ready on standby and ready to launch." "so we configured our aircraft and got ready to go." "we got in their and evaluated the lz and the location and where the patient was at and we were actually able to land the aircraft in a pretty tight lz." "myself and the other flight medic on board got off the aircraft and walked to meet him. he sort of met us halfway. we threw him back on board threw the heater on and flew him out of there and got him back here and fortunately he was perfectly fine. "they are actually pretty good, i didn't eat all day yesterday so anything is good right now. " "oh yeah i was just yelling help is anyone there its just doing the typical freakout that everyone goes through." "i don't know how many miles i walked but it felt forever long." "i got buried really really bad one time were it kind of took me a while to get out."
