The shattered family moves away, separating the boys. Years later, now in their late teens, the boys meet again. One of them is now the leader of an aspiring boy band whose managing assistant bears a striking resemblance to the lost sister. The boys must deal with their family and social lives and their feelings for each other.
This is a melodrama romance about a thirty year old schoolteacher named Joh In-Young who falls in love with her newly transferred seventeen year old student named Lee Suk. Lee Suk looks exactly like her first love and he also has the same name. However, one day a girl (also call Joh In-Young) comes back into Lee Suk's life. She originally was in love with his Lee Suk's deceased twin brother but loves him now. To make things even more complicated, the Lee Suk from the older Joh In-Young's past comes back as well.
"Yeong-ju" is a cute, innocent looking girl with an excellent deception skills who is imprisoned for ex-convict fraud. But using her talent she managed to go through the evaluation and able to receive a parole for her only sister's wedding. She boards a train with wooden crafted geese which she handcrafted as for her sister's wedding gift. But during the journey she is confronted by an innocent village boy "Hui-cheol". He is also on his way to propose his love to his girlfriend with his deceased mother's family heirloom ring. Everything began messy when Yeong-ju witnessing pickpocket man stealing the ring from Hui-cheol. Driven mad by her own safety she stole the ring back, to make everything back to normal. But unfortunately for her, she is unable to board the train on time thus missing it and leaving her wedding gift bag on the train. Determined to find her bag, she tracks down Hui-cheol and reaches his village looking for him. Making things more complicated everybody misunderstood her and welcomed her as their daughter-in-law due to the ring. Unwilling to tell them the truth due to her own safety and get time to resumption of her bag she manages to fool everyone around the family and manipulate Hui-cheol as father of her unborn child. Meanwhile, Hui-cheol who didnâÂÂt have the ring to make the marriage proposal comes back empty with a heavy heart, and is enraged when he finds the plot that has been going on while he was away. But worsening his situation, no one actually believes him, thinking he had abandoned his poor fiancee, and ended up kicked him out of the house making his life more miserable. Now the dramatic showdown between Yeong-ju and Hui-cheol, truth vs. lie begins. Who would win? Will Yeong-ju manage to retain her bag or Hui-cheol manage to retain his ring?

Based on the internet novel of the same title and written by Guiyeoni, Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do is a touching love story with bittersweet elements. O.k. Let me warn you about this movie. You must be very open minded and light minded. This movie is very ethnocentric but I must say it is funny from many perspectives, from the Gaijin way (foreigner, like me), the Japanese and the movie makers. The movie makes fun of all of them. In a way is like the Japanese wishful thinking. I mean after what the Commodore Mathew C. Perry did and the two little incidents in WWII, I’ll grant the movie and post it myself. I been to Japan a couple times and I like it. I love my Play Station and I think Pikachu and Hello Kitty are fine. And yes I like tempura and warm sake. Still I recommend hard liquor for this movie, my rating is 3 out of 5. So, now you are warned. Choose…?!?

One bright moment to this disastrous evening is Giovanna's meeting up with a troupe of MAMBO dancers in particular the troupe leader, Toni Salerno (Shelley Winters).
