They found medicinal cannabis at my home, and also arrested me for that. I was never charged with harassment, but I seem to have been issued with a piece of paper that prohibits me from going anywhere near them or the church (for now).... I was refused bail, and charged with possession and cultivation with the intent to supply, and had to see the magistrate in the morning. I was kept in a police cell for 24 hours while I waited for the hearing. I was denied my phonecall on a number of occasions. My please for water too fell on deaf ears for a very long time. I was denied access to a solicitor in the evening when I asked for one, and only saw a solicitor briefly prior to the hearing. Anyway... Im out. I was given bail on the conditions that I stay at my flat and sleep here (so no foreign protests Im afraid for me). I am next due in court on the 8th of August at 10am. Nassau, The Bahamas: a brief walking tour. One of the comedy acts on the ship later joked about this port of call, saying "That was a nice street." There were basically three or four shops along the street, which repeated over and over: booze, tee shirts, diamonds, repeat. CCTV footage showing the moment when two of the Mumbai gunmen were captured. The footage shows them being beaten by angry locals. One was killed the other captured, wounded but alive. Mohammad Ajmal Amir Qasab, 21, claimed the bloody three-day rampage was the work of just 10 Pakistani terrorists and an Indian gangster. He said the attacks were meticulously planned six months ago, and were intended to kill 5000 people indiscriminately. He revealed that the terrorists, who were highly trained and crept into the Indian city by boat, had planned to blow up the Taj Mahal hotel after executing British and US tourists and taking hostages. But the group underestimated the strength of the building's foundations. Their deadly attacks have left close to 200 confirmed dead, with the toll expected to rise significantly once the hotel has been fully searched. Yesterday, Qasab chillingly went through details of Wednesday night's killing spree, which ended when he was cornered by police. He pretended to be dead, which probably saved his life. It was only when he was being transferred to hospital by ambulance that his accompanying officer noticed he was still breathing. Once inside Nair Hospital, Qasab, who suffered only minor injuries, told medical staff: "I do not want to die. Please put me on saline." As Indian commandos ended the bloody siege at the Taj yesterday by killing the last three Islamic gunmen, Kasav was dispassionately detailing the mayhem. He described how its mastermind briefed the group to "target whites, preferably Americans and British".
