A rare documentary insight into how tribal superstition, ritual and ignorance evolved into worship. An elder of a primitive Stone-Age Amazon tribe performs a sacrificial ritual rooted in tradition. A child is unwanted and is burried alive. "He must die! For the good of the tribe!" Could this type of superstition help explain the origin the Judeo-Christian crucifixion/scapegoating myth? Is this ritual, in part, the basis of modern religions? _______________________________________ Here is a story from the UK Telegraph: Babies born into some Indian tribes in the Amazon are being buried alive, a practice that is being covered up by the Brazilian authorities out of respect for tribal culture. The tradition is based on beliefs that babies with any sort of physical defect have no souls and that others, such as twins or triplets, are also "cursed". Infanticide has claimed the lives of dozens of babies each year, say campaigners fighting to end the practice. Babies who are girls, who have some disability or who have unmarried mothers are all in danger of an early death in a shallow grave in the rainforest. Others are suffocated with leaves, poisoned or simply abandoned in the jungle. According to Dr Marcos Pelegrini, a doctor working in the Yanomami Tribe Health Care District, 98 children were killed by their mothers in 2004 alone. Campaigners say that the true figure is obscured by officials who often record cases of infanticide as simple malnutrition. At the same time, family anguish over infanticide has led to many adult tribal members committing suicide. This is the first of the eight episodes of the "My Love" film project. In this episode Lizette and Katelin express what they think love is - basing it from their own experience. Love. What is it anyway? Of course, there is no way words can express what Love is, it can only be felt, but I decided to seek out anyone who can articulate it. After all if one truly experienced Love, I mean truly truly, then he/she can simply close the eyes, and while browsing the imagination, articulate it verbally.

When Brigham Young led his Mormon followers westward, polygamy was taught as doctrine...not as an option, but as a requirement for exaltation. Joseph Smith had proclaimed it to be an everlasting covenant, a commandment from God Himself. In spite of the modern LDS Church’s prohibition of the practice, tens of thousands of Joseph Smith’s followers across North America continue the practice of plural marriage to this day...out of obedience to the revelations and commandments of a self-proclaimed prophet of God. This documentary examines the roots of Joseph Smith’s legacy, and its modern-day fruit. We follow the compelling testimonies of nine former fundamentalists, who shed light on this practice and lifestyle which has been shrouded in secrecy since the earliest days of Mormonism; but more importantly, they share the true freedom they have found in the Jesus Christ of the Bible.
A great Stooge video from 1951 with Shemp Howard, Moe Howard, and Larry Fine. The stooges graduate from dental school and go out west to open a practice. Everything goes well until Shemp "cures" an outlaw's toothache from the instructions in a carpentry book, and the boys must leave on the run.

This is VERY cool. We filmed kiteboarders in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with Neil Hutchinson as our affable host. Check these guys out-- practically flying through the air on this windy day. We caught a few wipeouts, too!

Listen dumbasses. Fandub = FAN RECORDED VOICE. This was done by my boyfriend just for the interest in seeing if he could pull off every first Super Saiyan transformation of Goku's, as well as practice for upcoming fandubbing. He gave his best effort and made this out to be as genuine a dubbing as possible; with music from both Bruce Faulconer and Shinsuke Kikuchi of the Japanese version, as well as true DBZ sound effects. He provides the voices for almost every single character (Slug, Freeza, Gohan, Vegeta, Babidi, Bebi-Vegeta, the Oozaru, and of course Goku himself). The only character he chose not to voice would be Pan, whom is clearly present for the SSJ4 transformation and he just couldn't muster a proper voice for a female character such as her; so credit goes to a very talented VA from the UK named Azure whom lent her voice for this special cameo. Many thanks to her and he hopes you guys enjoy the work he put into this.

It's Valentine's Day and Stewart ends up in the ER with a backache, while Ben gets locked in the bathroom with Crystal while she is taking a bath. Oliver tries to get out of a Valentine's dinner with his mother. (One of my favourite episodes) OUT OF PRACTICE is a comedy about a family of doctors who share little in common other than their professions.
Oliver, Regina and Lydia decides to use each other for their own personal gain. Meanwhile, Stewart tries to pawn off his housekeeper to Ben. (One of my favourite episodes) OUT OF PRACTICE is a comedy about a family of doctors who share little in common other than their professions.

James was spontaneously approached in Union Square and asked if he wants to interview other people about love on the streets of NY, he agreed. Participants who he interviewed then were asked if they want to interview other people as well and that's how this project was shot from then on - yielding a very multi-dimentional perspective to this topic. Lifting the Veil of Polygamy - Full Presentation, Hi-Res
When Brigham Young led his Mormon followers westward to the Utah Territory, polygamy was taught--not as an option, but as a requirement for eternal life. Since then, the mainline LDS Church has rejected the practice, but not the doctrine, of polygamy. Yet many fundamentalist Mormons continue the practice today, out of obedience to the teachings and revelations of the early Mormon Church. This documentary examines the history and the current reality of Mormon polygamy, via compelling testimonies of former polygamists and Mormon fundamentalists.
