Eagle Vs Shark directed by Academy Awardî-nominee Taika Waititi (the short, Two Cars One Night) is a wry comedy that portrays the refreshingly quirky romance between the oddest couple you'll ever meet. Lily (Loren Horsley), a shy fast-food restaurant cashier, and her crush, Jarrod (Jemaine Clement, HBO's One Night Stand: the Fight of the Conchords), an electronic store clerk. The film is laugh-out-loud hilarious and off-beat. It portrays the awkwardness of love with a New Zealand twist and has all of the key elements necessary to become a "cult classic." The film opens in select theaters on June 15th.
