Don't try this at home.
Nancy Kwan was the star of 1961 Flower Drum Song, after Suzy Wong. She was in the Royal Ballet in London before, and became Hollywood's most glamorous Asian actress of the 60s. This song (in Pat Suzuki's broadway version) has far transcended the musical, which faded away in the age of political correctness, perhaps because it so flaunts feminist sensibilities of all women.
From the 1964 McHale's Navy movie. I have the complete McHale's Navy in the Air Force but I'll need 4 comments before I post clips from that one. The PT boat is not an Elco or Higgins, the gun turret placement is similar to the "fast fishing boats" used by the real McHale, but I'll need help identifiying the boat because I can't find a picture to match that stepped side deck. Is it a european MTB? The interor set appears to be a larger than life mockup of what a real PT boat interior looks like. They also cast real Asians as Japanese. I didnt' capture that part that explains why there's a horse on the foredeck.
When Eagles roamed over the skies of Tacoma WA. From an old 80's pool&crew VHS, happy hunting to find one in a thrift shop like I did.
Boy they really built these things. Dad had 1961 from 1965 to 1985, and 3 different buses. Clip for movie review only.
From VHS, still not out on !@#$% DVD

PDQ Bach Hindenburg Concerto (Brandenburg Parody) MIT Symphony '82
Recorded on Sony TC-76 mono recorder, that's what we had before the IPod or the Walkman. On a rare "music tape" C-120 extended high normal bias cassette. Actually has less print through after 20 years than some Maxell XL tapes I have. Doesn't sound that bad thanks to build-in condenser mike. I was the concert matress. Shickele in a dog suit was chained to my leg in Canine Cantata. Leave some comments and I might post that one too. I believe this is the first posting of a complete, live PDQ Bach performance. Go Tech.
Yes, with peeps. Brownie points to first comment that correctly identifies the set used.
