On a recent visit to DYN, Eric Zimmerman of Gamelab spoke with students in the gaming pod about what goes into creating a real world video game. After the presentation was cut short by an unexpected fire alarm in the school, 7th grader Mosea quickly adjusted and caught Eric outside for an interview for his Remix Radio podcast. Eric’s company, Gamelab, makes Gamestar Mechanic, a tool to teach kids principles of game design. It’s currently being used in DYN’s gaming pod and media arts course.
