  • Matt and Nat got a lot more movie than they bargained for with Tropic Thunder, and after seeing, wished there had been a preview. So we jammed as much PREVIEW into this REVIEW as possible! But if you haven't seen it, yet, don't watch all the way through. Tropic Thunder has too many fun surprises to ruin it all here!

  • Matt's been a fan of Batman the Animated series since he was 12 years old, so when Kevin Conroy returns to voice the Dark Knight, there is reason to rejoice. Even if Christian Bale hadn't sounded like a death metal singer under the cowl. Nat's always up for more Batman, and we both have quite a bit to say on both sides of this Six-Part addition to Nolan's Batman.

  • Nat had the chance to sit down with Alessandro Juliani, the multitalented Canadian actor behind her favourite character, Lt. Felix Gaeta. Find out what he had to say about the finale (SPOILER WARNINGS!), the mutiny arc and get a glimpse into the mystique of the man... the MAN-stique. ~Matt + Nat

  • http://YourGeekNews.com for more! Columbus wasn't kidding when he said Zombieland is moist, but we enjoyed the hell out of Ruben Fleischer's debut ride! Between Jesse Eisenberg's coy hero and Woody Harrelson's crass maverick, we got our fill of every kind of Zombie kill you can imagine. And that's not even considering the monster awesome cameo in the middle. But what did YOU think of your adventure through Zombieland?

  • It really seemed like Baltar was the only guy they threw in the brig for the whole back half of Season 3... but can we really be sure? Poor guy...

  • What do you get when you cross an all-star, Oscar nominated cast with a few tonnes of hulking metal? You get Jon Favreau's IRON MAN! With some serious pressure to be a blockbuster, Marvel has all the makings of a winner as their first at bat as a production company. Matt's more excited about this one than he has been about a movie in a while, and Nat can't wait to see her some Robert Downey Jr. So really, everyone's a winner on this one. ~Matt + Nat

  • Matt and Nat both got more than they bargained for with Hancock. Whether that's because they set the bar low, or Hancock's terrible ad campaigns just didn't give the movie enough credit, or Will Smith's charm just wins every time, who knows? But it was worth the watch, and there's more story to this film than you probably think. And it's a good one.

  • When we went to the theatre, neither of us really wanted to be there... possibly lower expectations than we've ever had for any film ever. Maybe that's why we enjoyed "The Spirit" more than anyone we've talked to. It's a film noir comicbook that takes Frank Miller's last film, "Sin City", and re-applies every single trick he knows to great effect. Despite all the poor reviews for it, we think that if you liked "Sin City", there's really no reason that you'd dislike "The Spirit"! ~Matt + Nat

  • Thanks to an industry contact who has to remain nameless, we’ve managed to get our hands on a copy of the much publicized Wolverine Workprint… and boy do we have some things to say about it! Some good, some not so good, but this version is by no means the final film we’ll be seeing in theatres in May. It, in fact, is the version that lead to Fox commissioning millions of dollars in re-shoots and changes. Will that make it better? Worse? There’s no way to know yet, but this will give us some rare insight to the process of making a blockbuster! ~Matt + Nat

  • Without being named that way, this episode has been described as part one of a three episode finale for Battlestar Galactica's season 3 finale… we're really hoping the last two episodes of the season pick up the momentum a bit from this one. It gives us some closure for Lee, Anders and Adama after the events of last week, and it's great setup for Baltar's Trial with the introduction of Romo Lampkin, his defense attourney. But all in all, we find it falls a bit flat and is difficult to enjoy as just an episode. ~Matt + Nat

  • In the dead of the season break, we've got a shiny little gem of BSGoodness to share with you. Well, actually two. Not only is the Battlestar Prometheus story up to a climactic Episode 10 season finale, but we managed to land some face time with Katee 'Starbuck' Sackhoff and she let us in on some info on the post-Crossroads situation on her character, as well as some info on the Pegasus telemovie "Razor" and even went into the details of keeping secrets from the rest of the cast!

  • Matt and Nat came in with the bar set REALLY low for Clone Wars, and we were pleasantly surprised by this hot little tv-series-turned-theatrical-film! Sure have a few points of contention, but all and all it's the best Star Wars movie in 10 years!

  • If you haven't seen REPO! The Genetic Opera, you REALLY should find the nearest theatrical screening and go! It's coming to DVD on January 20, 2009, after a VERY limited release, but you'll get one heck of an experience in the theatre, since this bad boy may well be the Rocky Horror Picture Show of the 21st Century! If we've reviewed one MUST SEE movie this year, REPO! is it! ~Matt + Nat

  • http://YourGeekNews.com to comment on this advanced look at scenes from G.I.Joe! If you were an action figure kid or a cartoon lover in the 80's, there's no way you escaped G.I.Joe... so you're either excited or horrified with what is coming to the silver screen in August. An American Baroness, goofy looking armour suits and a Wayans brother aren't helping the situation.

  • Dear sweet lord… this was seven shades of atrocious, and we’re not even sure where to begin. Not even Destro and Cobra Commander could save it. In fact, they might be Matt’s most hated part of the entire film. Or was it the American Good-guy Baroness? Or maybe the terrible lead actors? No, it might have been seeing the entire Snake Eyes/Stormshadow mysterious backstory told in horribly inelegant flashbacks all in one movie. Hard to say, really. ~Matt + Nat
