GM celebrated its first 100 years and embarked on a new century as a global leader in design and innovation with the unveiling of the much-anticipated production version of the Chevrolet Volt.
Chevrolet Rules: Huff and Menu Win Both Races Rob Huff scored his and Chevrolet’s first win of the year in Valencia today, a feat repeated later in the day by team mate Alain Menu in the second race. The British driver had started from the second row on the grid and used the superior handling of his Chevrolet Lacetti to pick off the front runners one by one. After a few laps he moved into the lead never to be headed again.

The Nürburgring Nordschleife, nicknamed the "Green Hell", met its match today in the shape of a standard production Corsa OPC. After 20.8 challenging kilometers, the stopwatch showed eight minutes, 8m47.99 seconds – a new record for a supermini. Manuel Reuter set the officially confirmed circuit record during level four of Opel's popular motorsport initiative called "OPC Race Camp".
In testing at Germany’s Nurburgring, Cadillac’s upcoming new 2009 CTS-V completed a lap of the legendary Nordschleife in 7:59.32. This blistering time appears to be the fastest ever publicly documented for a production sedan.
Rob Huff starts from second row. Rain In Spain Shuffles Cards. A sudden thunderstorm half an hour before the start of the qualifying session and steady rain throughout shuffled the cards for the WTCC participants in Valencia. Alain Menu and Rob Huff nevertheless gave it their best, achieving third and fourth fastest times respectively.
